Who will have the more promising NBA Career out of these two franchise changing players? My pick goes with Kevin Durant. Hes big, can play down low and also has a good mid range game. Oden to me is just a big man. He can block, rebound and get inside points, but theres nothing about his game that shows me anyting else. Durant is one of the most athletically gifted kids Ive seen in a while, and for his size, hes gonna be great. Just my thoughts
And Durant is still growing! He apparently has a freakish wingspan in relation to his height. He can take over a game all by himself. I give him the vote.
fletch, what you just described about oden is a DREAM center! And, what you described about Durant is a good power forward. Both were number 1 picks, depending on "what" the number one team needed! Both to me where number 1 picks, but portland needed a strong inside presence! Oden is huge, GREAT shot blocker, GREAT free throw shooter, and a good low post player! Cant ask for any more than that! Durant likewise is a Great shooter, good rebounder, and has ok defense! Both would have been a number 1, depending on what that number 1 team needed!!
I gotta go with Durant. In the long run I think he'll prove to be the better all around player of the two..and like Michael says, He's still growing. And Fletch...Ogden can't be 45 years old. Ohio State would never admit and let play anyone who's 45. They draw the line at the age of 40, LOL. :lol:
