So here it goes... (a lot of it is foggy, but it was one hell of a trip!) :headbanger:

We stayed in Toronto at the Radisson the night before our first time to Temptation as we had an early flight out in the morning. We went out for dinner at Milestones and went to 'bed' early full of excitement for our much anticipated vacation to begin.

    Monday, October 17th, 2011

We took the hotel shuttle over to the airport at 6:00 a.m. and breezed through customs without any problems. We decided to have a hot breakfast at the airport as we had plenty of time before our 10:00 a.m. departure. After breakfast we shopped around in the airport, boarded the plane and the next thing we knew we were on our way! It was a great flight (always is with WestJet, although, I slept through most of it) and we landed in Cancun at 12:45 p.m. about 10 minutes ahead of schedule. When we left Toronto it was absolutely freezing, so it was nice to be blasted by the heat when we got off the plane. It was cloudy out, but we had heard that Cancun had very bad weather the past two days, so we were fine with that - nothing was going to ruin our vacation anyways!

We grabbed our luggage and waited in line at customs for probably 30-40 minutes. We walked past the timeshare people in the airport with a mission on our minds and we met the Best Day representatives outside and they loaded us on the shuttle after a short wait. There were only 3 other couples on the shuttle, who were not staying at Temptation, so we dropped them off at their resorts quickly, and off we went.

Now, I've been to Cancun twice before, but Matt has never been, so as we were dropping the last guests off at Dreams (I think?) there were two of the huge lizards out front. Matt was used to the little geckos in Cuba. I told him everything is bigger in Cancun. :biggrinbandit:

We arrived at Temptation and we were very impressed visually and with the service. We had done the express check-in on-line, so check-in was a breeze. We sat down quickly with their timeshare people, who gave us a map of the resort and a run down on where to eat, get towels, etc. and then we told them point blank we weren't interested in a timeshare at this point as we had just arrived and needed to check things out. We were straight and to the point and they didn't bother us again.

We had booked a Oceanview room with Bookit.com. The bellhop took us to room 1346 (third floor before the Alternative Bar but yes, there was a view of the Ocean). It was a very nice room but I thought to myself, there is no way I'm going to climb these stairs in heels after a night out full of booze. So, I turned to the bellhop that had brought our bags up and said that to him and I asked if there was anyway we could be any closer to the Sexy Pool and on the ground level. He called down to the front desk and told us to follow him. We made a stop by the front desk and they exchanged our room keys and we followed the bellhop in the opposite direction and ended up at room 5514. We walked in to the room and it was quite different from the first. It was on the ground floor, king bed, one wall was all mirrors, double mirrored closet, sink was in the main room, and large walk-in rainhead shower and toilet in another room. We opened up the curtains to the patio and we were not even ten steps from the beach. The beach in front of us had the row of hammocks and the beach volleyball area. The bellhop asked if this would be okay and we both looked at each other and said, YES! and gave him a nice, big tip.

We unpacked quickly, put on our suits and went to find the Sexy Pool. We took the ten steps to the beach, looked to the right, and there it was - 20 steps in front of us. We both were thinking, 'wow we scored with that room!'. We were walking to the bar, probably with our mouths on the ground as we were looking around the pool, and I said to Matt, 'I don't think we're going to recognize anyone from Cancuncare,' and he just said 'I know, but just look for orange bracelets.' By the way, we had ordered our bracelets well in advance but they had not arrived before we left for vacation. So we wouldn't get ours until the Boobs Cruise on Wednesday. So we got to the bar feeling like we needed to catch up with everyone as it was probably around 3:30 p.m. by this point. We said to Tiger 'we just got here, what should we try?' And he said 'wet pussies - what's your favourite colour?' I said 'purple' and he made us each two purple wet pussy shots. YUM! :liebe011:

We each ordered a drink and looked around. Almost instantly we recognized Wallyworld and his group because of their hats. We looked around a little more and spotted PaulandDarcy laying on chairs around the pool. We walked over to introduce ourselves and hit it off immediately. Matt and Paul went to get Darcy and I some more drinks and on the way back they brought Wallyworld over to introduce us. It was great!

The rest of the afternoon we spent in and out of the pool with Paul and Darcy and met a few more people from Cancuncare, including KATSWORLD, Sultryfox and Dashgod. :lotsofmichaelfs:

Oh and I should mention, on my first day by the Sexy Pool it only took me about 2 hours to go topless, and I don't think I wore a top by the pool for the rest of the trip!! Nobody knows you and nobody gives a shit! :flash:

Matt and I went to dinner that night at the Tex Mex restaurant. It was good and no reservations required. Afterwards we headed over to PatyO's, sat back and observed a little bit then danced for a while. We went back to the room, flipped on channel 12 and...

    Tuesday, October 18th, 2011

We got up fairly early, I think around 8:30 a.m. or so, got ready quickly, went to the pool and threw our towels on a couple chairs and our CANADIAN t-shirts on the back and went to the buffet for breakfast. Each morning for breakfast we had omletes and whatever else, pretty standard, but tasty.

We headed out to our chairs and knew it was going to be gorgeous day so we started drinking to celebrate!

This ended up being one of the craziest days in the pool for us for a few reasons: 1. the pool was being pumped with hot water, so there was a lot more people in it than in their chairs, 2. copious amounts of alcohol were being consumed and thus limited inhibitions.

At lunch time, they had the outdoor bbq set-up by the Sport's Pool - and it was delicious! We all needed it by this point to soak up some of the alcohol.

By late afternoon the pool was a rockin'! Body shots were happening everywhere and I know I couldn't see straight. It was crazzzy. :ladiesman1:

We arranged to go with Paul and Darcy to the Asian restaurant for dinner as we hadn't made any reservations yet. I think we were the last group out of the pool, but we managed to get back to the room, look presentable and make it on time for dinner. We sat down for dinner and the menu looked great - but I was feeling a little under the weather. I ordered Chinese Noodle Soup and Sweet & Sour Chicken. The soup was great and the spring rolls on the appetizer plate were great - but as soon as I got my main dish - I knew I had to get out of there. I gave Matt 'the look', we appologized to Paul and Darcy and we booked it back to the room. OPPS.. little too much to drink!! We were in bed by 8:00 p.m., but that's okay we would have plenty of rest for the famous Boobs Cruise with CHINOS the next day!

    Wednesday, October 19th, 2011

We were up early after a long, restful (alcohol-indcuced) sleep and got ready for the Boobs Cruise. We met everyone in the lobby and loaded into two buses to head to the marina.

It was cloudy and very windy, but we knew it would still be a blast.
We all loaded onto the catamaran (65 of us!) and got a seat. We met Chinos, Omar, Jose, Steve and Janet and all the crew from the boat. The drinks were flowing (we never had an empty cup in our hands!) and the music was great!

Our first stop was for lunch on the island. Matt had his picture taken holding a 6 ft shark and we had a great lunch (love the fried fish). A large group played beach volleyball, which was quite entertaining, and then Chinos got the ball rolling with the 'couple game' where three or four couples run into the ocean and switch bathing suits. So funny!

We got back on the boat and headed over to Isle Murjes to go to the local bar (or shopping... but we chose the bar!). We took over the bar - drinking, dancing and carrying on. It was a blast. :daveandmo:

Back on the boat, heading back to the Marina - this was the best! The 'sail' of bikini tops were hoisted and Chinos brought out the Whipped Lightening and called up anyone with a birthday or anniversary to have their partner lick up some whipped cream. Matt and I (celebrating our one year wedding anniversary) had to do a '69' show - it was so much fun. The entire boat ride back, everyone was dancing and laughing - it was such a great time!! :bj:

Thank you so much to Steve, Janet, Chinos, Omar, Jose and all the crew on the Neptuno! What a blast! If you haven't been on a Boobs Cruise - it is a must!

We got back to the hotel, Matt and I still wanted to party, but I think everyone else was too tired! We headed to the Sexy Pool (practically the only ones there by that point) took a quick dip, chatted to Sultryfox and went back to the room to get ready for dinner.

By this point we were starving! We went to the Buffet where it was Italian night and we filled up on Pasta.

Afterwards we checked out PatyO's to see if anyone from the Cruise made it out, but we didn't see anyone - so we danced for a little bit, then went back to the room and flipped on Channel 12...

    Thursday, October 20, 2011

We got up Thursday morning and saved our chairs and went to breakfast. We took it easy by the pool because we wanted to go hard for lingerie Night!

It was a gorgeous day, so we were in and out of the pool, working on our tans and getting to know all our new friends.

We had lunch at the Tex Mex - where we had lunch for the rest of our trip because we loved their guacomole. YUM. Food was really good too.

This day was a little different because at 3pm, we smartened up and decided to take a siesta so we would be ready to rock n roll for lingerie Night. We made plans to meet up with Paul and Darcy for dinner at the Steak and Seafood restaurant (again no reservations needed) and we went back to the room and had our siesta.

We woke up got ready for dinner and met up with Paul and Darcy for dinner. Paul and I both had the prime rib (which was extra $) but it was pretty good and Matt and Darcy both had the Filet Mignon. We parted ways to go and get ready for lingerie Night.

Matt had been dreading this night because I bought him a pair of Tuxedo boxer briefs (that left very little to the imagination but they looked very goooood) and I was wearing a black sheer babydoll with booty shorts and heels. Both of us were kind of out of our comfort zone, but when we stepped into Nice Shoes for the event, we felt great. :bootyshake:

We headed to the bar for some liquid encouragement and got a spot at Brenda's (entertainment staff) roulette table to do some gambling. I lost my chips quickly, but Matt managed to do pretty well - earning $1700 for the auction. The table games closed and the auction started - bidding off t-shirts from various Cancun nightclubs with the money earned at the casino.

We hung out with Paul and Darcy and met LizfromCanada and after the auction was over everyone kind of cleared out of Nice Shoes and we all headed to PatyO's.

The people at PatyO's that were unaware of Lingerie Night had quite the reaction when a huge group of us came showed up all wearing lingerie.
We danced, drank and did shots, met more people and had a great time. What an interesting night!

We headed back to the room around 3:00 a.m. or so and flipped on Channel 12...

    Friday, October 21, 2011

We slept in a bit, but we were still able to get chairs and then off to breakfast.

We spent the day lazing by the pool and drinking water to rehydrate. lol
We had lunch at the Tex Mex and swam in the afternoon. The weather was great.

By this point in our trip, we still hadn't made reservations for dinner, so we went to the buffet for dinner.

It was white night, so we put on our white clothes and went to PatyO's for a little dancing. We knew it was going to be an early night though, so back to our room and on goes Channel 12...

    Saturday, October 22, 2011

We were up early, reserved our chairs and had breakfast. We lounged by the pool for a bit, soaking in the early morning sun.

We went to the Steak and Seafood Restaurant to make reservations for the next couple of nights and we talked about renting wave runners, which we had never done before.

It was $50 (for the fast ones) for 40 minutes or $40 for 40 minutes for the slower ones. We decided to get the faster ones and we got set up and out we went. They were a lot of fun. Matt was zipping all around the ocean at full speed while I was putting around with my eyes closed, but it still felt fast to me! LOL

After our 40 minutes or so, we got waved in and we walked past the booth set up in front of the Sports Pool selling tickets for the All You Can Eat Steak and Seafood Dinner on the Beach for that night. It was $40 each, so we thought, why not, we didn't have reservations until Sunday night anyhow.

We got back to our chairs by the pool, got some drinks and spent the afternoon in and out of the pool with drinks in hand.

We had an afternoon siesta and then got ready for our dinner on the beach. It was Cancuncare's 'white night pool party' so we got dressed in white again and headed down by the beach for dinner.

For anyone that is there on a Saturday, this dinner is an absolute must! It is very romantic the way they have it set up with the white linens with lights underneath the tables right along the beach. The food was great! They had: prime rib, t-bone steak, lobster, salmon, tuna, shrimp, scallops, a salad bar, sides bar and dessert bar. It was soooo good!! :xyxthumbs:

We left so full and went to the Sexy Pool for the pool party. We got a table, got some drinks and met CuriousinCo - Heather and Jerry. We watched the fashion show and Matt and I decided to turn in a little early. So back to the room for a little Channel 12...

    Sunday, October 23rd, 2011

We were up early on Sunday to get our chairs, have breakfast and get the drinks flowing.

Another rough day of laying by the pool, cooling off once in a while and drinking.

We hung out with Heather and Jerry, Crystal and Bill and we met the Brits (Kevin, Ellie, Mike and Kerri) - such a fun group! :lotsofmichaelfs:

Matt and I had dinner at the Asian restaurant. I had wonton soup and sweet & sour chicken and Matt had miso soup and sushi. We had excellent service this night and the food was really good. We were very impressed.

We played the Cornhole game by the Sports Pool afterwards for a while (I kicked butt!) then we went back to our room and fell asleep...

    Monday, October 24th, 2011

Up early to get our chairs and have breakfast.

Matt was in the pool ALL day (they were pumping heat in again! woohoo!) and I had a siesta around 11:00 a.m. because after 8 days I had had too much sun! I came out of the room the early afternoon when it started to rain to watch the Mr. Temptation contest and got in the pool for the rest of the afternoon with the crew. It continued to rain off and on but we still had fun.

For dinner we had reservations at the Italian and Crystal and Bill came with us. Dinner was so good. We had soup to start, I had Potato & Pore and Matt had Ministrone. For our mains, I had Cannoloni and Matt had Filet Mignon. It was yummy. Afterwards the whole crew had planned to go to Coco Bongo's, but we all just decided to stay at PatyO's. We had a lot of fun!

    Tuesday, October 25th, 2011

Matt and I got up around 9am, packed up our luggage then went to breakfast. Then we went by the pool to say good bye to everyone and we went to the front desk to check out. Our shuttle was coming at 11:05 a.m. and our flight was departing at 1:50 p.m.

Our shuttle came, took us to the airport, we shopped for a bit, had lunch at Bubba Gump Shrimp (yummy) and boarded the plane back to Toronto.

    -----------------------------------

    A few thoughts...

There was one thing that really bugged me about the resort and that would be that at 1:00 a.m. each night the music stopped at PatyO's. The bar itself stayed open until 6 a.m. (I think?) but the DJ packed up and left at 1 a.m. - it would have been a lot more fun if they even just played the radio at least so the dancing didn't have to stop. :icon_exclaim:

As far as the entertainment staff goes, Sexy Sara, Brenda and Jose were pretty much the main characters and there all week. I loved Jose, he was great, but the girls were a little stand off-ish. The girls only seemed to gravitate to the single guys. Participation for games around the Sexy Pool was pretty low and a few of the contests were cancelled, including the Mrs. Temptation contest. The games that were held were pretty tame, but still fun to watch.

For tipping we brought about $200 in $1 USD bills and mixed chocolate bars. We also brought six Molson CANADIAN t-shirts, 2 of which we used to mark our chairs by the Sexy Pool, and we handed these all out on our last day to the bartenders (Jose and Tiger were our favs), waiters and maid.

I also want to give props to anyone that survives the fun, sun and alcohol at Temptation for more than 10 days at a time. We did 9 days and we were actually ready to go home on our last day and we've never felt that way on vacation! I don't know how anyone makes it out after 2 weeks!! :icon_eek:

Overall, we had a fantastic trip and we met a lot of great people. Thanks again to Steve for Cancuncare - we met so many people because of this site - it's a great icebreaker! We're already planning our next trip back for May 2012! Can't wait! :clappyinghappy:

Great trip report Crystella. Thanks for taking the time to write it, the forum has been a bit quiet on trip reports recently.

Glad you had a great time and met some good people, that's what it's all about.

    Importance of...

Thanks for all the information.... Will remember that the siestas are crucial to late night survival.... even if having too much fun at the sexy pool!

It was great to meet you guys and I wish we would have been able to stay a few extra days through that weekend, sounds like it was a lot of fun! We were only able to spare 5 nights for this getaway, too much going on at home! I'm glad we were able to get away for Michael's birthday, even for only a short time.

Tell Matt thanks for the kisses in the sexy pool Tuesday afternoon - was a lot of fun :) I never thought I would go topless in the pool - glad we shared that virgin moment with you guys!! LOL

I concur on the wave runners - that is worth the $50 and we had SO much fun!!

Great TR! There is no way I could remember that much if I quit drinking for the entire week! Pics coming?
