We are going for the first time the first week of April. Is the ocean view worth the $54 a night extra? Thanks
I think it really depends on how long you want to stay in there, or what your on vacation for, if your there to relax then maybe, its a nice view to sit on the balcony and relax, but if your there to have fun and party a bit, you will end up not being in the room that much, so the hundreds of dollars extra could be used else where
It's more about where in the resort the room is located than what it looks out on. I woudn't want to look out on the parking lot but a lot of the non-ocean rooms still are well located, quiet and nice. That said, whenever I go on vacation, I pay the extra juice for an ocean view, because damnit, I want an ocean view. Ain't nothing rational about it.
also take note the mexican definition of ocean view is being able to see some water--maybe only a part of a view.
We haven't seen any bad rooms (w/or w/o view) just go and have fun . Dress sexy be naughty get drunk and have a ball !!! That's an order newbie
Ocean view does not mean ocean front. If you can stretch out your balcony and see any water you are ocean view.
yeah im kinda with roy and marie on this one not the kinda resort where you worry about the ocean view on our first trip there i was concerned that we did not have an ocean view after the first day i could have cared less if im going on a carnival cruise you can bet your ass im getting a window/balcony but could care less where they put me at Temptation - as all you do is party and sleep anyway
I wake up 4 hours before the Boy does so I really enjoy having the ocean view. Literally, in the morning I have time to work out, shower, eat breakfast #1, grab chairs, and read on the balcony for awhile before he even cracks an eye. I like having the view to really maximize on the room time.
Instead of ocean view wait until you get there and at check in ask if a jacuzzi room upgrade is available. They will likely say yes for 100 a night. Then say you would do it for 50 and they will probably say ok. They did for us. If not your room will be fine and they do let you switch if you don't like it.
Seriously , you will have a great time no matter what room you end up in . If ocean view or front is what you want then why not !! If it's not a big deal then all the rooms i've seen are very nice and extremely clean .
