We have ocean front room booked the last of May, through Orbitz. Looking at some maps of rooms we found online it appeared to us that these rooms would possibly be rooms number 3101 through 3408 behind the "Sexy Pool". Shot the hotel an e-mail inquiring about this and they responded that these rooms were for time share ONLY. Can anybody confirm this is true as we were really looking forward to being in this location from the looks of the hotel lay out on the map we have. Also, if had to make an upgrade to be in these rooms is this possible?

Yes those rooms are reserved for premier members. We stayed in them last year, 10 steps to the sexy pool
We were above the bar for 2 nights and then I just couldn't take it anymore!! I became very friendly with the front desk and they gave us a room in the 3000 block. Kindness prevailed on this one! Saying that, I would never pay for an ocean front room-it was nice but the room we had above the quiet pool was the best!
We're in 5523 right now. We have a great view of the beach volleyball court and the marina where you board the Boobs Cruise. It's nice and quiet too except for when the party boats leave in the morning. We didn't upgrade either. I paid for a regular room.
Ya...that's just about where our room was last time. The party boats leaving in the morning are a little noisy if you have your balcony door open. But how bout the "Indiain" that gets dressed up every morning to take pics on the doc. We knew what time it was every morning because we could hear him walk down the path with his boots ...swish, swish, swish. We also knew if he was late because then it was swishswishswishswish....lol!
Those rooms are the premier rooms. Occasionally someone who is not premier will get one of those rooms, but not often. You have to remember that in Mexico, even if you have to lean off your balcony and look far to one side that is still considered ocean view.
Thanks for all the information! We were in Cancun year and a half ago and loved it. Stayed at Golden Parnassus and had wonderful time. Almost went with Temptations then but backed out, decided to give it a shot this time, booked through Orbitz and indeed room is "ocean view". Probably wont be bad where ever it is just wanting to keep as close to ocean and "Sexy Pool" as possible. When we get there will KINDLY ask about any way to up grade. From what we have read we definitely don't want behind Paty' Os. We do like to be able to get "some" rest. If anyone has any suggestions as to a particular room we would appreciate it!
