From reading the threads it is pretty clear that there is no place to be naked at the resort. Can anyone shed any light on the rationale behind this as we are a bit disappointed about it. The resort we went to in Jamaica had a specific area for nudity and it worked very well. Such a shame they cannot do it too. Derbytwo
You'll see brief glimpses of nudity everyday that you're there but it'll be very brief. Nudity is allowed in your rooms. Can you say "room party"?
I don't think the UK mainstream travel agent would be at all happy about sending people to TTR if there was full nudity. It's not a lifestyle resort, just lifestyle friendly, so that may be why.
all mainsteam travel agents in the uk sell vacations to hotels that have nudist areas so cant see why they could not do the same with Temptations mexico some examples are fanabee hotel and noelia sur both in tenerife but there are many more just a observation hope every one has a great holiday we are there 30th nov
the resort dosent market itself that way. i understand that you are talking about Hedo which is a totally different Vibe. i know that as we have been there and Hedo 3 over 10 times. that being said the nekkid part is something that was fun but is greatly trumped by the all the activities day/nightime. (imo) Original resorts owes a resort called Desire in cancun area that is more like Hedo.
With nearly 400 rooms that's a lot of rooms to fill week in week out. Far larger than any clothing optional resort I'm aware of. Going clothing optional would put off far more people than it would attract imho and they'd struggle to fill. As the same owners also own Desire I'm sure they've done their figures.
we are nude all the time on our patio near the spa. Nobody has ever complained . Their has been as many as 6 of us.
As someone said, if you want nudity there is Desires available for that. Different resorts have different vibes. Saying Temptations should allow nudity because a hotel in Jamaica did is like saying the Russell Hotel in London should allow nudity because the one in Jamaica did. We choose Temptation because of its current vibe but lack of total nudity outside of the games. We find it better to leave a little to the imagination, although I will admit that some suits leave very, very little to the imagination. It's better to research your hotel before you book and make sure it meets your expectations rather than book and then be disappointed because it doesn't. Jamie
You can't please everyone all the time but.........,TTR Cabo does Desire ''weeks'' that seem to sell out. maybe there's room for a few in Cancun, but then again the Management is trying to tame down the resort not liven it up. They might have to bribe local politicians to get the special permits, but it would be fun to try.
