Each room has one - it's called the balcony! Apparently they are also useful for "spontaneous shows" as well! Best yet - no sand showing up in yer naughty bits! http://www.cancuncare.com/forum/images/smilies/huh.gif
Thanks...good information to know !!! Wasn't sure if you could get in trouble totally nude on the balcony. We missed out on the balcony show (seeing and doing) last year but we promised each other that we won't miss out again !!! It's on the list of things to do this year !!! April-26 thru May 3rd !!!!
The main reason is that public nudity is illegal in Mexico. They get by with topless with a wink and a nod from the local officials. In order to have total nudity, they have to be out of sight for the general public. Since the beach is open to anyone to walk by, that is not possible. That is why Desire is located so far from the main stream. Not sure how they are pulling it off in Cabo since I've never been. Jamie
Don't forget the Cabo location was a Desire property long before they converted it to a Temptation style place. As of May 1st the Los Cabos property reverts back to being Desire Los Cabos and will be clothing optional at the pool and Jacuzzi areas. The beach at Los Cabos has always required tops and bottoms since the whole beach area is neither clothing or topless optional.
Yeah, it's just with the highrise that went in next door in Cabo they switched it from a Desires to a Tempatation because they could see over the roof. I understand thay put in a sort of screen / overhang to now block the view but as I understood it, it didn't block all the view. Guess they have made "improvements." Jamie
The big rooftop screen blocks the view from the nearest rooms at the new wing of the Barcelo down into the Jacuzzi and a fair bit of the pool which was the original concern. Seems to be a non issue now since they have run multiple Desire weeks without complaints from Barcelo guests. I'm sure that is one thing that factored into changing the Cabos location back to a full time Desire Property.
This is a picture of the screen they built, not the prettiest thing and looks like it could easily go airborne in a small storm
