I am thinking about taking the family down to Cancun for the Thanksgiving Holiday. We normally go down in February. What will the weather be like in November? What about the water? I am having a hard time finding a flight out of LAX... is there a reason? Is this not a good tim to visit for tourist? I think this is the off season but why?

Should be some bargains as it is "low season" and Nov is the tail end of Hurricane season. Went out on a boat Monday with friends and it was pretty rough and border line chilly so we cut the normal trip to Isla Mujeres short.

Weather is pretty much golf weather after Hurricane Richard took his rain away. It passed more than 200 miles south of Cancun and was nothing here but some raining.

    Come on down.

We stay in Cancun from the 27th of Nov till Dec 11 most years. It is cooler during the days and windy most of the time and the water is rougher. The nights are also a bit cooler. But we have had some warm times also and little rain most years. It is still in the 80"s and certainly warm for most people. Go and have fun with less crowds.
