I am thinking that November is going to be my ideal time to make a trip to TTR agian.
Having only been there once I am wondering what the most popular busy season is and whether I'll see familiar faces from my last visit in Nov 2011.
This resort showed me a top 5 best time of my life, like many of you I'm just itching to have a blast again.
Do you guys venture out of the resort much while you're there? I only went out once and feel a bit regretful about not checking out the city. That being said any reccomendations on places to go or places to avoid? I want to be adventurous but also don't want to be chopped into bits because I went somewhere I really didn't belong.:beer4::beer4:

Hi! We were there in Nov 2012. Our 5th trip but first time that time of the year. We met another bunch of awesome people. We have been to Cancun many times prior to TTR. HIGHLY recommend taking the Ultramar ferrry which is located a short walk up the beach or street to the left of the resort to Isla Mujeres. $17US pp rountrip and spend the day. Rent a golf car, stop at any convenience store and pick up a beer and drive around the island. It has so much character and beautiful beaches. We always eat at Jacks Bar and Grill on the island for lunch. Owned by an american couple and food quality and safety are top notch. Also CocoBongo is a must see and do for night life. It is incredible and probaly like no show/club you have ever been to? We have always felt safe in Cancun. Just avoid dark alleys at night ;). Explor is another awesome day trip "google it"

Thanks for the tips! I'll definately look that up. I like the golf cart rental idea in particular.
On my last trip I heard they were taking a bus of people to Coco Bongo after the lingerie show but I had just gotten checked in and thought it might be a daily occurance. Silly rookie mistake lol

Jacks bar is awesome on Isla. Bucket of Corona for 90 pesos and Playa Norte just around the corner!
