We just purchased a waterproof digital camera and then I stumbled upon someone on the forum mentioning the "no taking pictures at TTR" rule. Can anyone who's been there comment on how strict or lax they are with this policy? I know it's only for public places to respect other's privacy, but we were wanting to at least take pictures of ourselves out at the pool or the beach...is this going to be a problem?
It looks like from what ive read,as long as your.not."cramming" your camera in.others faces than you would be ok....a little respect for.others goes a long.way. Sent from my LG-LS980 using Tapatalk
No problem at all. The only resort rules on picture taking is "no photos during the Sexy Pool games" (as there may be brief nudity). Anywhere else is fine as long as you're respectful. Enjoy, make lots of memories! :daisy:
You can take pictures just be respectful. We brought our camera and mainly just took pictures of ourselves in the pool on the Boobs Cruise and on patios. We also took pictures with friends but we always asked permission first. Just a simple hey do you mind if we take a picture worked for us. The week we were there only 1 couple declined to have there picture taken and that was fine we moved on. Now we have great pictures of ourselves and with the friends we made. They are for our eyes and those that are in them so not a big deal. If you taking a picture and someone is in the background just let them know. If they don't want to be in the pic they typically would move out if the way. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
we take pictures but are very careful not to have anyone in the backround especially at the sexy pool...
Not to offend any of the singe guys but what we have seen is tht it's the ingle guys that are just aking random pictures of the pool while the ladies are topless. Last year a few of us saw this guy taking pictures of the topless girls in the pool and we asked him to put it away and he did. But later on we saw him again taking pictures so I politely asked him to put it away and when he said its a free country I can do what I want. I said o can I so I took his camera which was also his phone and politely threw it in the ocean. I must say he was really pissed off but nevertheless he was one of the ignorant assholes that you once in a while find at TTR. Anyway I got a big applause when I to back to the pool and we never saw the guy again.
Just to add our two cents; in April a couple pretended to take a picture of themselves but it was very obvious they took a pic of Jen in lingerie. When we asked them to delete it they claimed ignorance and then called Jen a bitch for kindly asking them to not take photos of her. Bottom line- as all things at TTR just be respectful of your fellow partygoers.
The No Taking Pictures formal policy is only at the Sexy Pool and only during contests, when people go up on stage to compete etc. We take pictures all the time, except for the contests which we understand (We'd not want our pic taken doing some of that hilarious stuff, either!), but we take pics at dinner, out by the pool, at the swim-up bar of the Sexy Pool, down at the beach, etc. etc. etc.
