I called TTR this morning, as I wanted to ensure we would be able to get reservations to SHE one night. They informed me that they only take reservations for restaurants upon arrival. Does that sound right to anyone else? Thanks!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ You won’t have a problem getting a reservation unless you are only staying one or two nights and forget to make the reservation right away and/or one of your nights happens to be the night the restaurant closes for the week. The reservation “desk” is at bottom of main stairway/under the lobby bar. Yes, some or all of the restaurants have one day per week they are closed.
If you are a member ask your butler to take care of the reservation for you. If you are a normmy(like me) you will have to get up early for that reservation the morning you are wanting it. We tried 2 times for that and then stopped because we where not there early enough in the morning. We cold have got the reservation if it was important to us but it just was not.
I find just showing up and asking if they have a no show or cancellation and handing them $10 has about a 100% success rate also
Actually, I thought they said no reservations period. I could have misunderstood, but we were there for a week in September and never made any reservations and we were always able to get in without any problems. We were surprised, but it was a lot better than before when someone had to be sober enough to remember to make reservations.
My understanding was they are still needed for "She" and if you want to sit at the grill at the Asian.
