My (male) friend and I are arriving on Feb 27. I was considering seeing if I could get a room in the 5000 section. Although we are more than friends at times (and likely a lot more during our trip) I still like the idea of having some privacy when it comes to a bathroom door. What are your thoughts on the no bathroom door situation for those of you that have stayed in that section? Would the 3000 section be my next best option? Less than three weeks and counting!!
If Im not mistaken there are no bathroom doors in any of the rooms...we usually get a room in the 2000 or 3000 building & if I remember correctly none of them had one. We always opened the shower door all the way which covers the doorway & at least provides a little privacy. One of the wierd things Ive never been able to understand.
I believe we had one but it was the shower door that swings to the other side,,,which is clear glass,lol. You can always use the public washrooms for those special occasions.
Our room had a door for complete privacy and a glass door for the shower in the 2100 block, the down side is their were no exhaust fans in the washrooms, but this seems to be the case with quite a few hotels these days, so if you're going #2, go to the public washroom was our rule
A few of the rooms don't have doors, but do have that swinging shower door. The one thing I'd like to know is "WHAT THE HELL WAS THE HOTEL THINKING WHEN THEY REMODELED."
