wondering if most couples go out to clubs at night in Cancun or party at Temptation? Thanks for the help....any other advice????, it's our first 1st time!!! :ernaehrung024:
It's usually half and half..It usually depends on the club they are going to that night... But if there is a theme night that someone might be running..Then i would guess move would stay at Temptations!
First time for us. But from what i have read here TTR run activities usall slow down around 10:30, when they head out to town as a groupe. They say thats a good way to get to know new people on your first night there. Theme nights from what i gather is a grope getting together to dress up to attend the TTR function. Someone that has been there before please correct me if this is wrong. Rick & Cindy
We ALWAYS go to Coco Bongos If you do nothing else go to that club!! I do wish the resort had more going on till later in the evenings.
over the years the clubs have gotten fairly expensive. sweet, senior frogs and bascs were all a little less than $100 per night-- count the tips and about $100 to $120 per night. we noticed a lot fewer couples hitting the clubs- used to be a couple of buses but this year barely filled a bus one night. with "dmac" in charge of the cancuncare theme nights i would have to say the better of the two was to stay at the resort. someone said coco bongo on the weekends was $80 per person. now for the may reunion repeaters we have firmly established jamie as TTR's mayor and dmac is in charge of the nightly entertainment. allready planning for next may.
In February we planned to go to the clubs at least two of the six nights we were there. However, each night we got too involved in activities to make it. Either a theme night spilling over to patty o's bar or a late day at the pool leading to a late dinner followed by patty o's or a theme event followed by a hot tub party. (my personal favorite reason for missing the clubs). I recommend playing it by ear. If it feels like a slow night then join the group going to the clubs. When we go back sometime in the fall we hope to finally visit the clubs! (or do we?)
Have to agree with Jen and Kyle, we had every intention to go to a club or 2 but when it was time to leave, we were having too much fun at the resort, no reason to leave. Next year we are going to try coco bongo, sounds legendary! I would suggest to not plan anything, if you feel like it or some people you are hanging out with want to go, then you can pretty well go on a spur of the moment.
In May we didn't leave the resort at all. Paty O's was full every night except one and it didn't close until people stopped drinking which was great. We even had beach parties which were much more fun than going to the clubs. We noticed most of the singles went to the clubs this year and many of the couples stayed at the resort.
Coco bongos was not $80 per person when I went, I believe we paid $50 plus it included a ride down there and instant entrance without lining up and all you can drink (wait wasn`t too bad when I sent my wife up to the bar lol). It's a pretty good deal. Definitely some fun night stuff at TTR and some nights are good to go out if lots of people are going. I think I went out 2 nights with my wife in January when we were there. I can`t wait to go back but I just booked a 25 day trip to Colombia for new years so I`m not sure I`ll get to go back in September or not.
