i know most of you dont like hockey, but there are a few of us going strong on here, so i want to get everyones take on what went down yesterday. First of all WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO my boys in Pittsburgh landed the biggest prize of them all, Marian Hossa!!! Had to give up a hefty sum to get him, and im certianly going to miss Colby Armstrong alot, but we just became the front runners to win the East. Once Sid comes back, all bets are off.....not to mention adding Hal Gill to the defensive mix....ooo the future is looking good Also, LOVED the Tampa/Dallas trade. Both teams got serious talent, and Dallas just made that extra case for them in the west. Tampa free'd up alot of cap room which will clearly be used to sign Vinny Lac. long term, obviously a smart move The Caps made a splash as well, going out and getting Sergei Federov, Matt Cooke and Cristobol Huet....so they are also seeing some upside and how about the Colorado freakin Avalanche? What is this? 1998-99? The return of Peter Forsberg, and trading yesterday for Adam Foote....Im waiting for Patrick Roy to come out of retirement and lace up the ol pads again ahahh i love it so how do you think your team did this trade deadline?
I went 9-1 last week and have jumped into 6th place. top 6 get into the playoffs, one week to go before then. you get a bye, and the following week I will knock you off with Sid the kid.
