Hello all this is my first time on the forums and its so much easier then tripadvisor. I believe those people think they are rich once they get away from the real crappy lives. Anyway my my wife and I (only 8 months married) are trying to go somewhere for the summer we been together for 8 years and done mexico like 2 times. We have both seen this place and never really know what to think. So could you go and just enjoy the place with no pressure. Also I am hoping she gets turned on with all the people and the fun going on around us. We normally leave in august which works out weather wise but how are the people we both are in our late 20s Sorry for all the questions
We are in the same age group and we are going first week of August! Not having even gone yet, I know we will meet lots of fun and friendly people! They say the people make the place! Can't wait!!!
We are 30 and 31. This september will be out third trip in a two years. We have gone in April and this is the second time in September. We feel September is better because there are not as many crazy single frat guys on spring break that think they are Greek gods.. I hope that makes sense. The resort is what u make of it. If u hope she gets turned on, if she is open minded ( take that as u will). Then she will get turned on. My wife (cafegirl) get turned on every time we go. You will never meet a stranger and if u don't wanna do something if u are asked. Then just say no. No feelings will be hurt. Your trip is what YOU make it. Don't anticipate. Participate. You can definitely go and there is no pressure. Don't let the reputation of the resort get to you, you can go there and never see any of it or be pressured by anyone. We have been there 14 times with number 15 coming up in September.
We are 28 and 29 - We'll be married for 2 years on the last day of our vacation. August will be our third trip to Temptation in less than a year! LOL - yes we're hooked. Trust us, you'll love it! I've never met anyone that doesn't!
One of our friends (who we met last year on our 1st trip to TTR) described the resort as one that "weeds out the douche bags." It is absolutely true. I was very leery last year before going and ended up having the best time of my life. My husband and I are also very newly married (two weeks...LOL). I would have to say that my competely biased opinion is that the last week of July-early August is the best week of the year. :icon_smile:

Those of us who are repeaters cant get enough of the place and it becomes like a second home for us. This is the ONE page where you cant ask Too many questions. We have all BEEN there and DONE that. I have personally traveled to many places and I am a travel agent but this is the only place that feels like a fraternity when I return.:wink3:
TTR is great unless you are the jealous type. If it bothers you to have anyone checking out your hot spouse then you might think of elsewhere. If you have a solid relationship, go an have a great time. We have been once an can't wait for trip #2.
I've been with my husband for 12 years, and our first trip was last January. I read into the 'sexy' vibe of the place and thought "hmmm ok for some but I'm different", but that being said, we had a great time! Being with the same person for 12 years, Temptation really gave us a lift we so desperately needed. This place is incredibly romantic, and although I was dubious of the romance part, I can personally vouch we had more 'fun' at Temptation than ever before! It is like you just can't help it, the place cries out romance and sex!
