Hey Hubby and I are in our late twenties and visiting temptations for the first time. Actually its our first adults only resort also. Can anyone give me tips on what to keep in mind when booking the trip, checking in etc? I've read a lot of reviews about avoiding time share reps etc but I just wanted to see if anyone else had tips. Also whats the age range of guests generally? We're great with all ages and have friends well into their 40s but it would be nice to know if there will be other 20-somethings while we're there
Welcome!! It's up to you guys if you want to meet with the time share people. They usually give a decent gift for listening and you may want to join. We have always avoided them, but with as many times as we go, we should probably join. I'm 32 and hubby is 41. You will encounter all ages at TTR. There should be a thread on here for whatever month you are going. Check it out and make friends. Definitely participate in the theme nights! So much fun! Cheers! From what I understand the age range at TTR is pretty wide. I cant say that I'm in my late 20's anymore as I just turned 30, but age is just a number and from what I gather most of the people there will be acting like college kids on spring break no matter their age.
Hey there guys! Welcome to CancunCare and TTR. Your going to have a blast in July! We'll be at TTR from July 10th to the 19th, so we'll definitely be crossing paths. We're both 27, been married for 9 years, have 3 kids, and went for our first trip last May- and now we're addicted. Get a picture on your Avatar (or in your picture album if your more private) so people can recognize you at the resort. Fill out some information about yourselves in your statistics too. I was worried about wasting time on the timeshare presentation because I have absolutely no interest in it.... even if the prizes are nice lol ill see how it goes... Triksy I'm so glad to hear its like spring break! At first we thought adults only meant quiet and reserved lol boy were we wrong!
Actually many of the Adult only resorts ( and there are many) are somewhat quiet and laid back. We have been to so many Adult resorts over the years I can't keep count. However TTR is in a class by itself. We go to TTR when we feel like getting a little crazy....but there are times when we want to be laid back and pampered to. We go to Excellence, Secrets, or the El Dorado for that. I tell people that Temptations is a 3.5 star resort at best ..for the resort,food, and rooms.....but it is a 5.5 star resort for having fun. That's why we been going for over 15 years. We are members...and I have to say if I had to do it over I would have saved that money and passed on it. The value is just not there. Sure we get to have the pretty Gold towels and reserved Bali beds...but that's about it. We are suppose to get the high end booze when they see our bracelet....but they never do unless you beg. The worst part about the sales pitch is that it takes up half a day ( a whole day if you buy) of your valuable vacation time ..haha. Send me a message if you have specific questions.
Welcome to the forum guys. You guys are going to have a blast and you are already on the right path by joining this forum. We didnt find out about CCC until after we left TTR but now i know better. If you can i recommend going on the Boobs Cruise and just be open to meeting new people. Everyone is super friendly and once you leave you wont be able to wait to come back. If you plan on getting dressed for the theme nights you might feel out of.place because there may be alot of people who arent dressed up but who cares. Those that do dress up will make the party that much better anyway. So thats my advice to you. Hopefully we can meet. Just look for the lady with purple hair and blue wings on her back and extremely happy and sometimes loud and thats us lol.

Nakify July crowd will be there and we are all into dressing up for themed nights and keeping in lively at the Sexy Pool. :lotsofmichaelfs: Age ranges all over the board, but age doesn't matter here. I recommend getting involved in as many activities as possible, introduce yourselves every chance you get (look for the orange bracelets that represent CCC members), leave your inhibitions at home, bring a bubba mug and a tiny bathing suit, and if you have a chance....definitely do the Boobs Cruise. :flash: Feel free to pm us if you have any questions.
