This is our first time leaving the country. We have been married 15 years in October, and we are looking for a place to let loose. Have fun, and know that no one will know about it but us. Temptation sounds like the place we want to be. We are wanting to make friends on the board, in hopes to have friends there when we do finally save enough cash to go. Can't wait to meet you guys, and take in info from your past experiences. We probably won't be able to go until next April or May. What kinds of things do we need to bring, and what do we leave behind. It's our first time to take a vacation alone without our children.
You will save quite a bit of money if you book online. We are going back to temptations in Oct for our 12th trip there. You will just love Temptations

Come back in April w/ the April Addict team!! We went the 1st time not knowing anyone 4 years ago and thru this board as well as meeting folks there, there were over 200 of us that met up this past April!! I fully expect that this # will be exceded next April too. We're heading back down around the 10th of April next year for our 5th trip and 8 of us are all meeting in Baltimore for a weekend get together next month also! Hopefully, we'll be able to put together another April Addict .pdf file (w/ pics, 1st name, arrival and departure dates, etc.) for everyone to get to know each other before arrival. I know saving for the trips can be frustrating, so here's how we save faster. I got an American Express Blue Sky credit card that lets you use your points for bookings you make online, rather than like a lot of credit cards where you have to use their booking system (I'm sure there are other cards out there that let you do the same). I use the card for everything...seriously...a $3 coffee goes on the card...BUT you have to pay it off every month or it won't be worth it. Then, I search all of the online sites: Expedia, Orbitz, Travelocity, Priceline for the best price. (Airfares tend to be lowest on Tuesday mornings, too.) Also, it seems that the farther out you book, the better price you'll get...however, I read on TripAdvisor that 5 weeks before you want to go is also a good time to get a good deal. I just don't like to risk availability. So...if you can find a credit card offering bonus points for signing up, then use the card to book the trip early on the cheapest website, you might be able cut a couple hundred off your price. It sounds like you guys need a trip to Temptation and are going to love it, so I hope you make it soon!:cheerleaders:

We went there for the first time this past Feb and we have now booked our 2nd trip back for Jan. We had an amazing time and met amazing people who will be life long friends. We already met up with 2 couples from TTR in NYC this past April. All you really need is a bathing suit - preferably not board shorts. A wrap and bottoms for the women - a shirt for the man so you can eat at the restaurants. I brought way too many clothes last time. A sweater/hoodie is never a bad choice as well - it rained one day we were there and it was chilly.
Come join us in April! This April was our first year at TTR and can't wait to go back again next April! I promise you will love it!
