My husband and I went to Desire Los Cabos last year and are really excited to try Temptation. Desire was too sleepy during the day for us and even at night everything ended by midnight.

Originally was thinking we wanted a Jacuzzi suite, as I thought they faced the sexy pool...reading here, I see they face the quiet pool. Trying to decide if it's better to have the jacuzzi...or the view of the action at the pool? If we want to be by the sexy pool, what type of room is that - deluxe garden or ocean? I've also read that deluxe ocean view is really no view at all. If we are going to skip the jacuzzi, I'd like to get a good view of the pool...maybe one of the higher rooms? HELP! (+)(+) :)

I have heard that most rooms that overlook the sexy pool are reserved for premier members.

Everyone is different...but for us, we could care less where our room is or what the view is. We spend almost all of our waking hours outside the room...not in it. We can have privacy in a room the rest of the year, so we try not to miss any of the fun going on in the party areas.

We've got an outside hot tub at home, so having one on vacation isn't really anything special.

You might also want to adjust your expectations. Getting special requests of any sort past the front desk can be problematic. Once inside the resort it's a totally different experience. I think that's one of the most repeated complaints I've seen on the other review sites and it's often mentioned here as well. Reception personnel at all-inclusives in general are considered to be terrible...Some people feel that TTR seems to take that to a new level. Now personally, I'm not very picky...I do like a quiet room and have asked for and gotten that both in Cabo and Cancun for each visit without a problem...so I request something in the 5xxx blocks of rooms in advance. Not sure why my experiences are so different that what I've repeatedly read about...but there it is.

That's funny, because that's exactly what we experienced at Desire Cabo...front desk staff was HORRIBLE but everyone else within the resort was amazing. What category are the rooms in the 3000 block? What about 2000 block by Paty-os?

3000 block is nice!! 2000 block surrounds the O'Paty bar..so you'll be hearing music to early in the morning!!:icon_rolleyes::icon_rolleyes:
