Hi everyone, Just a couple of questions, we’re not new to Cancun but new to Temptations and the idea of visiting the resort… 1) We’re thinking about a March-April visit…anyone else heading there that time? 2) We’re not really experienced in swinging, but have played with other couples and singles before…is this common there or is it more of just a topless/nude resort? 3) We’re a committed couple and that’s important to us, is there a lot of college spring breakers that visit Temptations? We’re prefer something that isn’t full of frat boys… Thanks!
Welcome to the board! Ok now on to your questions, I'll answer them as best I can. 1) March and April are the busy season at TTR, personally I am into the april crowd myself. Lots of great people! You may want to miss March looking at question 3... 2) There are certainly swingers there. It's not really in your face but if you are looking I am sure you will find a single or couple willing to join you. Just remember not everyone is into the lifestyle so be prepared to spend a little time fishing. 3) While not a big Spring Break hotel, TTR does have a few small groups there in March mostly. April seems to be a bit more mature (and if I say so myself) fun crowd (Come on March people I love ya you know that). My GF and I went to Cabo TTR on Spring Break two years ago. The age limit really keeps the college kids away. As for the swinging thing, my GF and I were approached but politely declined it. HOWEVER! OMG what a fun time we had with everyone just partying and hanging out!
1. We are planning a March 16-22 trip. 2. There is more swinging going on here than at other resorts(behind closed doors), but it is mostly just a topless resort where everyone likes to have fun. 3. Cancun will be filled with spring breakers in March. But compared to other hotels, Temptation will have the least amount of them, on average.
Jim and I will be there 27th March - 10th April 2012, bit later this year, but I am sure that we will have fun!
We were there early March last year and there were quite a few groups of lads hitting on the ladies, very loud, 'yobbish' behaviour, made me feel quite ashamed as they were British! I do believe that the tour operator miss sold them the hotel as a swingers hotel, they seemed to think that everything was on the all inclusive menu!! As was posted earlier, yes there are swingers at TTR and we have met quite a few couples and singles that are, but this doesn't mean that everyone at the resort were, It was like a 'sausage fest'! The lads thought it was great, thinking that loads of lovely ladies were there for the taking! The single males that go to TTR in the majority are just lovely, we still remain very good friends with quite a few of them, I do hope that the hotel will start stopping large groups of single lads booking in, it just upset the whole balance of the place. This is why we are going later next time, as late as we could with work etc, we have met some lovely people from all over the world during our previous visits, and we are really looking forward to partying again! xx
