First of all we would like to say thank you to everyone for the great advice. Since this was our first trip I hope this helps other newbies know what to expect. I'll start with the bad since there wasn't too much of it. The check in time share breakfast and "tour" push. After declining nicely four times we finally got up and walked away from the desk with the woman following us still not getting the hint. The beach really was not that great. There was a lot of sea weed and not much clear room to swim, don't bother trying to snorkel there. The AC in the room was a bit under powered. We didn't find the food to be anything to write home about. If you plan on going to the reservation resturaunts be at the reservation area 10 AM three days before or you'll be eating at 10:30 PM. Our last and biggest complaint was SHADE! If you plan on being in these pools there is none after about 11 AM. I was forced to hudle under a corner of the pool bar in a white T-shirt (I can burn to the point where my skin will be purple in about 15 minutes with 90 sunblock on). So if your really fair skinned like me be prepared. Now the good. The people there are great. Everyone we met was much nicer than we ever expected, we never met even one person who we said was rude or obnoxius. There was always a good time to be had and great people to hang out with. When we checked in we switched from an ocean view above Patio's to an ocean view in the 5700 block. We found this area quite when you wanted it to be and a 2 second walk to the sexy pool and the fun. The room was very clean and house keeping did a great job. As far as night life goes, I don't know how you people do it. We stayed up until 3:30-4 with everyone the first couple of nights, but found ourselves getting to the pool around 11 the next day. After that we forced ourselves to be home at 1-1:30 so we could actually be up by 8-8:30. The pool party was out favorite night, don't miss that one. The staff were all great, bring plenty of singles and fives, they deserve it. One last tip, if you plan on going into town (which is perfectly safe) don't bother going before 10. Most bars don't even open until 10:30. We will definetly be returning:wink3:
