Hello newby. :huepfen021:This site is great for information about Temptation and for connecting with others who may be guests when you are @ TTR. Many ppl that visit this site are experts about the resort and can answer obtuse and pinpointed questions. But it is irritating to most and says something about you if you log on, register and your first post is yet another common question that has been asked 1000's od times. I get that you don't wanna search thru the forums to uncover info. But. You see that button at the top of your screen that says 'Search'? It is not decoration. Use it! I'll walk you thru it. Click.on Search, then hit advanced search. Then type in subject pertaining to your question. Then hit title posts followed by search now at the bottom of the template. Voila. . . .posts will appear in order of date that relate to your query. Easy huh! Nothing says lazy, more than asking the same repeated questions that many newbies have already asked 10 times this month. Chances are what you wish to learn has been asked and answered many times before you ever got here. You aren't the first to have the burning desire to know what ppl wear for lingerie, or how old evrybody is, or the male/female ratio or hair dryers in the room or if evryone is a degenerate looking to score.
um.. I have to disagree with you Marshe, this site is for asking questions and we welcome newbies and want to help anyways we can.. I personally don't feel that I have to answer every question on every thread. I enjoy chatting and flirting and having fun on here and if a thread doesn't get answered Steve will answer or supply a link.. come on now that's what makes this site so awesome..
The repetitive questions do get a little annoying, but somebody making an FAQ would probably work better than people trying to search..
You forgot to mention asking about free Wifi....oh wait that was you who started a thread last year even though you could searched here or looked at Temptations site . LOL Seriously though, we are fairly new to this site and we have asked a couple things that probably could have been searched for but it's a part of trying to reach out and talk to people. Since we have never been to Temptation we can't really respond to too many question so asking is really the only way. It's also nice to get a fresh perspective from people.

Brent&Kellis. Very good point. If you have never been to resort you can't respond to questions being asked. Only way to start any dialogue is to ask a question Most times the questions are easy and could find the answer out but that's not the point. The point was to find a way to start posting and talk to people. Very good answer.
Lots of people haven't been on a forum set up like this one before. The first time they look in here (me included) I felt a bit like a deer in the headlights. Sure the questions and new threads can get repetitive but it's all part of the process. Like the old expression goes, you can't learn unless you ask questions.
That's true , the site could be confusing but not really the point. If you figure out how to search and find the answer to your question still doesn't help you to post anything. Usually a simple meaningless question is the way most people start off
I'd have to agree with most of the later responses. While a search will bring up answers to almost any question, if no one asked questions the forum would be much quieter. We're a community site trying to increase membership and referring people to search doesn't really help that aspect. We need people to interact and as repetitive as it may be for some of us long term members it's something that probably wont change. Incidentally, I think sometimes I answer the same questions every day - often via email or PM but I always try to answer promptly, fully and politely - like it's the first time I've been asked. That said, it is a job for me and a pastime for everyone else - if folks don't want to answer, you shouldn't feel any obligation to. There are always plenty of other people who will jump in and help newbies.
