:) Newbie questions from anxious 1st timers!!! (HELPPP JUNE JUNKIES!)

Hello cancuncare members!!
My boyfriend and i are very excited about our 1st vacay to Temptations!! June 3-11 are THE dates!!! Woot

I have a number of questions and a few that I hope may be able to be answered by the June junkies...!

I'm a bit worried about the weather forecast for that week in cancun..i dont need sunshine to party hard but but It says torrential rain all day and WEEK ? Does it actually rain all day or is it those tropical rain showers that go away after a few hours? it would really suck if we were rained in more than 3 or 4 days.. I was wanting to get a tan!! What's your experience this time of month?! Advice will be appreciated so we can prepare ourselves.

Also, I've been wondering for awhile and I couldn't find a direct answer in the forums ... Are the Boobs Cruise and the booze cruise the same thing? I'm assuming its different and one is directed towards more Temptation resort visitors ? I would like to book at the resort and more last minute rather than online.. Are the prices the same?

And ladies... Am I allowed to bring a hair straightener and or curling iron on my carry on? I'm coming from Canada if that makes a difference.

Oh and is there a need to bring outlet adapters for electronics?

Seems as though rain is always predicted in Cancun, but it usually rains lightly for less than an hour, if it even rains. We find that in a 1 week trip it will usually interrupt activities for 2-3 hours on only 1 day.

As far as carry-on limitations, I don't have the answer to that.

We were there this time last year and i think there was maybe one day where it was overcast and rained off and on but that was it. Didn't stop the drinking or Sexy pool time!

as for the straightener and curling iron, yes you can put those in your carry on. we're also from canada and i wouldn't go ANYWHERE without my straightener and never take the chance of putting it in my checked bags in case they get lost. and no adapters needed!

You are going to have the time of your life. I would highly recommend booking Steve's Boobs Cruise. It is an absolute blast and you'll regret it if you don't. Make sure you also post your trip report when you get home. Enjoy yourselves and remember no one knows you and no one gives a shit

Thank you for all your advice guys, the anticipation is building everyday! I want to go on vacay now!!!

Seems like Boobs Cruise will be on our to do list too now and I'm looking forward to dressing up on theme nights good to hear we can bring straighteners n stuff in the carry ons.

 

Have you ever had such a "fun" day that you lay down for a "nap" at 7 pm and don't wake up until 1 AM. Well, at TTR, that is "perfect timing" !!! Pattyos is just starting to get exciting at 1 am!!! Kinda goes from "GP13" rating to "R" around 1 !!! Maybe its an "X".

 

Yep this happens to us at least twice every trip...usually after Boobs Cruise!!

 

We will be there for the first time as well and was worried about the rain. Everyone I have spoke with says the forcast always calls for rain, but it doesn't bother you. So I guess we will be soaked together! Look for us! I have an Asian wife, so we won't be too hard to spot. Have a safe trip.
