Me and 3 friends are planning on hitting the Big Apple in December.... So any reccommendations for four 21 yr olds out to have fun and see the sites? Also guides on cost of things and info on the Grand Hyatt NY hotel if possible? Thanks Riki
It all depends on what your looking to do. you going to party? go site seeing? NYC is big and expensive, but there are many things to do no matter what you go for.
If you plan to stay in Manhattan, bring lots o'cash and book your hotel soon. Christmas is a very popular time of the year for tourists there.

I'm just thinking of the money. Staying in Manhattan would be most convenient of course, but you definitely pay for it. There are 1000's of bars and clubs in the NYC area. You just have to pick what kind of bar and what's good on what night. If you haven't been to NYC, then I'd say you be a tourist and see the Empire State Building, take a peek at the Statue of Liberty, Central Park, the Seaport, Times Square, Broadway, etc. Don't forget the World Trade Center site. But do it all in one day so that you can have the real fun the other days.
Dennis is pretty much on.....except for one thing...... The Statue of Liberty belongs to New Jersey, dont give them your tourist $$$ keep it in NY....LOL But like Dennis said.... there are so many different bars, clubs, pubs and strip joints to chose from and party. its all there!!!!
