According to a note I received about this Powerpoint slideshow (that's right...Powerpoint again), someone had a close friend in Panama who forwarded it. It contains photographs taken in the 1920's of construction workers atop skyscrapers eating lunch, relaxing, etc. straddling steel girders 70-80 stories up over the Manhattan skyline. Explanations and captions are all in Spanish - just ignore that - it is the pictures that are so spectacular. Enjoy.
