Im thinking about booking a trip to party at Temptations for New Years Eve. Im new to this site and cant find any info about NYE 2012. Me and my buddy will be coming. Both single males in early 30s. Do they have a special party for NYE or is it better to go out to the clubs that night. Any info would help. Thanks
I have been there the last 3 New Year's in a row and all of them were an absolute blast !! Every year they have a different theme and the entertainment that they have for that night is unmatched to anything that I have seen here in the States. On top of that, that night all of the restaurants offer a lobster and prime rib dinner that is to die for !! Would not even think of hitting the clubs for that night, as the resort outdoes itself from the previous year. Top notch entertainment plus the house DJ's will rock the place all night !!
New years eve at the resort is a blast. We went one year and it was a chicago show and party and dancing until 3:00 am. Have to say I passed out in the shower after drinking three bottles of champane.
NYE was ok in 2011.They took a lot of time to move the dance floor to the sports pool, but if you wanted a good chair you had to buy an over priced bottle of Grey Goose vodka.The staff were all dressed up and great. The management staff brought their children. WTF ? The crowd was great and the atmosphere was good. but........................ for the price of one week at TTR NYE you can get a week in Oct/Nov and a week in April for almost the same price and the weather is a lot better in April. Just saying.
I agree with all of your points, but were very glad we bought one of the premium tables. You have to overspend wherever you go on NYE (other than at your home), and what better place to spend NYE than TTR. Partying outside in a warm climate with great people is a great way to celebrate. Lots of NYE repeaters. BTW, the heated pool makes a winter vaca a much more attractive option.
