In the home stretch towards Dec 28th and New Years at TTR, with only three weeks to go we're starting the prep: -Tanning to get a good "base" ...check -Altering sleep patterns to prep for long nights of fun ...check -Working out like crazy under the delusion that it will make a "real difference" before going ...check -Planning for what to bring then pairing the list down more and more each time ...check Are any of our fellow New Years travelers doing the same/similar??? We can't wait to get there and meet everyone and get the party started LOL Cheers all!
hav n fun Arriving on the 28th also, starting to get things done around here, looking forward to a great time, see everyone at the sexy pool Mike
Mike, looks like you've got the "working out" part pretty much checked off LOL. Lisa runs her own Marketing company geared towards fitness professionals and is quite the gym rat herself.
Countdown checklist started this weekend: clothing packed since it is becoming very cold here in Ohio, and nothing I am taking would be worn here regardless of time of year - check tanning started as my white ass to be seen in said clothing needs to not blind those in the day light - check (btw, a 17% sales tax on tanning??? wft... guess to pay for all the welfare recipients that can afford to pay for tanning but cannot afford to pay for private insurance) the extras set aside that make an all-inclusive trip even more fun or comfortable; insulated cups, can/bottle koosies, pool noodles, towel clips, collapsable cooler for isla muejeres day trip, bug spray, first aid kit for all various ailments, etc - check small bills to divide up ito separate envelopes so can be sure to have enough to tip all week, learning the hard way my early generosity with the alcohol intake can lead to an "oh shit", where did all the money go half way into the trip - check so ready for our vacation that I tell my afternoon students to "have a good weekend" --- and it's only MONDAY... what the hell - check
Holy crap! That's insane. I hear ya on the "blinding white" thing though. People confuse dark Irish with dark...I could burn in front of a light bulb :icon_eek:. figure start slow in the booth and go a little longer each time, should be a nice medium-rare by the 28th.
