Hi, I am new to the world of adult travel and I am hoping someone can give some recommendations. My wife and I are talking about taking a week away to somewhere south of the border and having a great time. We are not lifestyle-ers, but we have no problem with others that are. We just don't want to feel pressured. We are looking for a resort that we can unwind and let loose. Topless is great, but we'd like to find something where we aren't looked down on for messin around on the beach or near the pool ;-) I've been looking into Temptations, Hedo, and Desires. I just don't know much about any of them and kinda want the whole scoop so I know what to expect. I want to push the boundaries a little but not feel like it's everywhere. Though I'd be nice to have a place to go play This experience is new to us and hopefully it won't be the last... Sorry... We've never been pda people and I want to change that. What that is, I'm not quite sure but I definitely want to try and have sex on the beach if I can. The sexual environment will be new to us, but I hope that we will become comfortable quickly. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
A good progression for you, in my opinion, would be TTR then Desire then hedo. TTR is a sexual environment more about the party with the possibility for other things behind the scenes. PDA is more of the flirting nature and not sex. If you want more PDS then your next step up would be Desire. There are designated places for this and while the party may be less than TTR there is more of the 'adult' stuff going on. Desire is also more expensive but also more upscale (nicer facilities, rooms, food) And the last step, from what we hear (never been), would be hedo. Described to us as more raunchy. More ls. More PDS. But also not as nice facilities. That is the quick summary. Let us know if you have any specific questions.
Thank you... I really appreciate it! So, a couple of concerns.... Because we are not into the lifestyle , will we be looked down on or in the minority? You would not be the minority at TTR. TTR is topless optional. Not total nudity. At Desire you would possibly be in the minority (maybe 50/50) but it really doesn't matter. No pressure. No one is looked down upon. Many people go to just 'let it hang out' or party only, but yes at Desire it is clothing optional.
Ditto what Jen and Kyle said. TTR is a partly place. Messin around is done behind closed doors. There is no where to be naked unfortunately. At Desire you can mess around pool side, beach, hot tub. When I was there I seen all 3. Plus they have the advantage of being naked. Hedo, never been but I heard the same as J&K. I think the question you have to ask yourself is what is more important, PDA and sex acts in public or party with open minded people and get it on behind closed doors?
There are a ton of people that have tried (and succeeded) in having PDA down on the beach area (or at least on the beds/loungers near the beach)...just make sure if security comes around and says "no sexo" to be respectful and stop or take it elsewhere lol.

I would suggest TTR for your first trip. We have been to TTR and Hedo. Had fun at both, However Hedo can be a huge shock to the system for a first timer. That was our first "adult" vacation and it took some time to open up and have fun. TTR sort of eases you into it. It is adult fun and partying just without full nudity and the overt PDA's. Have not been to Desire's but it seems to be on line with Hedo. Hope that helps
