The weather in March I think is perfect, March is the beginning of what I call groundhogs day in Cancun...cuz the weather is like the movie, its the same almost everyday...you will see 83high 73 Low, in that ball park and it will usually be the same. I have found that march, april and beginning of may are perfect temperature months
the lowest prices I have found are actually on the Temptation website...... but that is also from texas. give it a shot

Another place to look at is SkyAuction..... just watch the service fees and read the fine print. I won my bid for $15 per day plus service fees which came out to about $75pp/per day. Then booked flights seperately.
We've had the best luck with Orbitz. Just the rooms alone on Temptation's website was more than room+flight for us from North Dakota.
We booked on Cheaptickets.com. It has the same layout as Orbitz, and I believe they are both owned by the same company, however, the price for our vacation package on Cheaptickets was $600 less than Orbitz. That was from Alaska tho, and I think most of the savings was on the airline tickets...
DHR.com via Steves link was the Cheapest I found last week for room only @$174/night for 2. Used credit card miles for the plane tickets. $1050 for 6 nights If you can get the tickets like this it is a cheap way to go because that $174/night is the same price as expedia etc. but you don't have to book both hotel and plane to get the discount.
