Ok I know its not so 'new' anymore but you get my drift. Anyways, one of our favorite things was getting out of the airport and getting our first official corona standing outside the airport waiting to for our transportation. Loved the nice new terminal last year, but got outside and no beer stand!! :cry: I know its a silly thing but I was crushed! lol Just wondering if they have put an outside stand in??? Hold Everything. When you come out of Terminal 3 there is a "Meeting Area" with tables and chairs and a white, tent type covering. You can get food and drinks there, plus there is an entrance to the Cantina where you can go inside and get a beer or whatever. When you exit the terminal just look left and you can see the outside area. They entry to the inside area is obvious too. I think Ana meant that it's not like Terminal 2 but you can get a beer. I think they are $35 or $40 Mxn. I grab a limonada when picking people up and they are $35.
Thanks T.J.!!! Thats great news! I know my question probably sounded silly, but its the little things that we enjoy that make up our vacation. We arent big drinkers but the first taste of a authentic official Corona is just the best!
Corona Couple There is more good news. I was at the airport yesterday and went over to where arriving passengers exit Terminal 3 after Customs. I knew there was a hut looking thing on the right as you exit. After I read the post that said there was no place to buy a drink, I assumed that this area had something to do with dispatching transportation or some such thing. But alas, it has a sign saying "COCONUTS WELCOME BAR" and I confirmed that it really is a bar. I took some photos which I will post later as a new subject that I will call Terminal 3 Ariivals Info or similar. But it has a palapa roof and is impossible to miss. Stay tuned. But now I have work to do.
That is GREAT news. Tina is ready for a drink the minute we arrive and glad to know that I will be able to get one for her!
