I think 'web advertisement' is probably the most appropriate. As mentioned above it doesnt really matter too much, since the link will record this site as the referrer and credit a commission. The company actually approached me for this, they saw we were sending some clicks and sales already and asked me to join up to their affiliate program so they could pay me a commission. I make $5 per sale.
