It would be really nice to see a new room map. Some like the proximity to the party spots like the old Paty'O's, and some like quiet areas, and that information helps you request areas at check-in or even through the express check-in online. Without a map and room numbers though that will be a lot more difficult. Could any of the first guests possibly grab a map and post it here? It would be super helpful to give everyone a 'lay of the land" before they get there. Taking it one step further, if someone was really inclined to help out other TTR peeps, perhaps even a walk around to scope out areas and report what they find for noisy areas, quiet areas, proximity to the bars, food, etc. would be very much appreciated. Thank you!
I am curious if the old 5000 rooms will still be 5000 rooms,,, will the existing buildings keep the old same room numbers?
I will 100% take a picture of the new map, and then I will write up a detailed tour of the property including pictures and location descriptions. I will do this sooner and separate than whatever trip report I put together. However, I won't be doing this when I am down there, and it's very unlikely I would be posting any pictures when I am there. (I essentially go completely off the grid when I board the plane, and don't turn my phone back on until post customs)
Well my nature of my work requires I be connected almost all the time. It is worth it though. They treat me well. So I will likely be taking pics and online some. The big question is whether I can upload it from my phone. The pics I took in June were too big size wise to upload directly from my phone So I needed to edit them first which I kind of can do from my phone. So it may be an evening thing while the mrs is getting ready for dinner or I will be so excited to share it will be pool side on a break. Will see what I can do. Anyone know of a good picture editing app? That might help me do it quickly on site. I don't do Facebook FYI
Will you be getting a wifi package when there too? I also need to stay connected, and my cellular service provider doesn't go outside the country.
