I found these great shoes at Costco for only $579 pesos. I have looked all over Cancun (and New York) and couldn't even come close to this good of a deal. Super comfy gel soles at a great price give these running shoes my vote. Running on a treadmill is different than running outdoors, however today I set a new personal record of 5k in 24:50 on the treadmill. Pretty sure it's the shoes!! :mnm:

Thats great news! I have a nice pair of Asics that my brother brought from back home. Tonight I went for my regular 6K, but felt like I could just keep going, so I did... Ended up doing 9K´s which probably hasnt happened in 6 or 7 years, haha. A lady informed me about a new race, coming up this weekend. Can't remember if it was Sat or Sunday. Think it has the 5K option as well. HZ running track at night is nice, except for when entire families block the ENTIRE track and/or when the "too cool for school" Rollerbladers blaze through, without no regard when it comes to others in the track. Has anyone tried the "new" gym station at the entrance of the HZ?? Looks nice, but I gave up after 20 mins of waiting to even try one machine.
There is a race at the Airport on Saturday, 5K and 10K options. I am waaay out of shape at the moment, so I am passing on this one. Congrats Trina...you have amazed me. But can you touch your toes yet? lol, just kidding!
