There's a new pharmacy that just opened across the street from TTR. It's part of a Mexico wide chain and is a lot bigger than the other older pharmacy over the road. There is also a Doctor there. If the prices are the same as elsewhere at their chain then a consultation is 45 pesos, yes $3! Possibly they may have a price hike (like anything in the hotel zone) but it wont be by much. You wouldn't want to go there with a broken leg or a brain tumour, but if you have an upset stomach, a sore throat or need a couple of stitches it's going to be a lot cheaper than calling out the hotel Doctor. We take our kids (or ourselves) to these kind of Doctors if the problem is something minor that just needs a prescription.
That is good news....last week, I was wondering what they were building over there. will it stock liquor and beer too? What is happening with the Brazillian resto?

Currently vacant, no sign of any takers. The owner was incompetent. I thought about renting it and turning it into a swingers club. Too many ideas, too much politics, not enough cash
We saw that building going up last time we were there..almost looked like a McDonalds going up..Glad it wasnt. Also nice to know in one of my drunk binges if I crack my head open all I have to do is stumble across the street

That was actually another plan about 6 months ago for one of the empty shops at the mall across the street. We looked into it quite seriously, but delayed due to potential hotel closure and it's now a fried chicken place.
