Hi all, I will be traveling to TTR for the first time with a girl friend and this site has been very helpful! i do have a quick question though...does TTR have Red Bull or some kind of energy drink? If not, does the convenience store at the resort carry it or do i need to make a stop before arriving? Also, what brands of vodka do they have? Thanks so much! We can't wait to get there...only a week and a half left!
They don't have red bull, but you can hop right across the street to the convenience store and be back in 5 min. They'll put them behind the bar for you. I don't remember what vodka they have but we were doing alot of vodka and red bulls during my last trip out.
Last time we were there (3 years ago) the Vodka (and several other types) was by the brand name *BLAT* LMAO it was made in Mexico. I had a very long discussion with a fun group we met from MI about the BLAT brand and how it has taken over the market also manufacturing Gin/Triple Sec and Rum. We were sitting at the bar at the pool and we were watching them *wash* the glasses....we were cracking up watching the *wash* process...we noticed it was more of a rinse under the sink with no soap.... we both looked at each other and said at the same time *Maybe he is washing it in BLAT* lol At that time I didnt see any other vodka but Margaritas (now PattyOs) had Stolis in the evening. I am a huge Vodka/Red Bull drinker and I prefer Grey Goose or Absolut....I had to settle for Blat. Maybe things have changed since 3 years ago.
they do have red bull at the resort but its at an extra charge so you just best nipping up the road to the supermarket to buy your own
When I asked them to put 100 Years tequila in my margarita. The bartender let me know it was for premier members only but he would give it to me that time. I tipped a couple of bucks each time I got drinks and as soon as he saw me coming he would start making the ritas with 100 years.
U can always make a quick trip to Wally World, buy the vodka U want and have the bar hold it for you too.
Had the same experience with Captain Morgan our first night there in October at the Alternative Bar...kept serving them as long as I was tipping.
