Hubby and I will be there from Aug 4-9 and we would like to find another couple(s) to go to Coco Bongo with one night and also to take the ferry to Isla Mujeres and just explore. These things are more fun to do with other people.
we Did a trip to the island with another couple in may. we rented golf carts and drove around the island, drive in beer store, eat at the mango cafe great place. we had so much fun together. and its a day off the resort that we needed as we had a two week vacation.
Good luck with going to Coco Bongo...We went to the club district one night while we were there HOLY FUCK!! I have never seen SOO many people jammed into a little night club!! that was also the same night TTR staff went there. We talked to our neighbor who went he said they walked in and walked right back out. Waste of money trying to have a good time there. We were also there a few weeks before spring break so maybe it wont be so busy while your there!?
We will be there the same time as you guys. We might be up to going to the island, but as far as going out at night, it might be a game time decision. We can discuss things when we get there!
We would be up for Coco Bongo! It has always been packed as hell when we went previous trips but we always had a great time!
The crowds kinda thin out in August I think. We did Coco Bongo once before and had a blast! Would just be fun to have other people to go with. Our usual group can't go our same week this year so we are on our own. Come say hi in the sexy pool...I'm the short redhead with pierced nipples and a big butterfly tattoo on my back ;-)
