Okay, I am going to get Kevin a satellite radio for his patrol car (well patrol truck since while his car is in shop!) as a surprise when he gets back from Air Assault school in two weeks. We have VERY LIMITED amount of stations to hear here where we live...like three. Would you recommend XM or Sirius? Why? p.s. we don't listen to Stern, or anyone that is exclusively with either station....I just want to get what has the best line up in your opinion. don't just vote...please give me your thoughts!
I fly AirTran a lot, and all their seats have XM radio, everydamn channel you could want! From news, weather, sports, and music! I love it!
I have Sirius right now and love it. I initially got it to listen to Howard, but the rest of the music and content make it worth every penny. Whichever you choose would be a good idea seeing that they are merging in the relatively near future.

Wouldn't let me vote :? Anyway, I am going to go with neither. We have XM radio that we'll use out in the backyard from time to time, but not enough to really compensate for the monthly charge (not that it's much-but we paid the year in full and hardly use it). I recommend an Ipod, this way he can load hundreds and hundreds of songs, shows etc that he likes. You can use it for travel, in the car, at home etc...I use mine all the time and when I hear a new song I like it's two seconds to load it on. It's also great for movies when traveling and small enough where it's not bulky in your luggage. He'd be able to carry photos, tv shows, movies and any song.
yet....Kevin has plans for us to move into an old farmhouse in the fall if all goes right with the person who owns it....
