If your there when Steve is doing a booze cruise there snorkling as part of it, it's pretty fun, after all the drinks on the boat though it's a good idea they give you a life vest.
My hubby and I have done the Jungle Tour a couple of times. Its a good time and decent snorkeling, but we enjoyed the day trip to Isla alot better. The snorkeling is a lot better and you get a whole day of other activities for a little bit more money. We've not been on one of Steve's trips, but we've heard GREAT things about them. Can't really go wrong in what you do while you are in Cancun...anything is better than being at home. We also have done the Pirate Ship Cruise. That was a ton of fun - food was great and the drinks kept coming and coming. The only down side was walking back to the resort. Two steps forward, one to the side and three back doesn't get you there very fast.
I have went snorkeling three different ways...1. xel-ha 2. jungle tour and 3. day cruise to Isla and the day cruise to isla was the best as far as I am concerned, followed closely by the jungle tour. Steve never had one at the time we went so we booked ours at the towel hut. Two days a week they have adult only tours that they try to book a whole boat of just people from Temptations and I recomend that if you cant get one of Steve's. That way the party atmosphere is still there. I second the pirate ship cruise. TONS of fun. The food was pretty damn good and the drinks flowed nonstop. We went both times we were in Cancun and I wouldnt hesitate to go back. :lotsofmichaelfs:
Thanks everyone we will be going to the isla still trying to decide between the ferry or cruise. The boat from Temptation sounds nice does that include snorkeling.
This is our first trip to Cancun so please keep the suggestions coming. We do plan on enjoying our time at the resort also.
When will you be there? Don't forget to post on the calendar and roll call lists. Welcome to the board! Shiela
Wife and I really enjoyed XelHa. Only downside was we were snorkeling in the middle of tropical storm Alex thus the water was stirred up alot and got worse as the day progressed. Still very enjoyable and lots to see and do.
