    Hey, fellow Cancun/Riviera Maya/Cozumel/Isla enthusiasts....

We're looking at the possibility (nothing definite yet, merely a possibility) of taking our 18-year-old daughter and a friend of hers (also female) to Mexico for 6 or 7 days this summer as a "graduation present" and we're open to suggestions about where we should go. Wife and I have stayed in Playa, Cozumel and Cancun before so we generally known the lay of the land....but what we DON'T know is what resort we should book. Factors to take into consideration: price (hey, finding a good deal is always important...and besides, we have college tuition coming up!), all-inclusiveness (we have a preference for AI's), activities that are appealing to both the girls and to us (both on and off the resort property), etc.

Does anyone have some ideas we should consider? THANKS!

    How about the Riu's?

Centrally located and always a busy crowd of all ages.

Failing that Great Parnassus is one of our favourites.

Thanks, Steve...I think one of the Riu properties could be an excellent choice. Kathy and I have stayed at the Riu Palace in PDC and had a very nice experience. Some friends of ours have also stayed at one of the Riu resorts in the Hotel Zone in Cancun and have given it high marks. Most certainly we'll put Riu in the running, as well as the Great Parnassus. We've stayed at its sister resort, the Golden Parnassus (loved it) and know folks who have stayed at "Great" as well just after it opened.

Of course, we're open to more suggestions.
