My wife and I haven't been back to Cancun since 2007. When we were there, we ate at a wonderful seafood restaurant, whose name we can't recall. It was a fairly large restaurant, south of the town center, on the main road and was on the water. IIRC, the husband and wife owners also arranged fishing trips. If anyone can help me out, I'd appreciate it.

My guess is that it could be JC Captitan. From canunmenus.com: [FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]JC CAPITAN -Located on the southern part of the island, JC Capitan is a pleasant escape from the commercialism of Cancun. Situated in a virtually undeveloped part of the lagoon, providing a secluded setting for a delicious lunch or dinner. The palapa-topped building is on the water and the pier has private tables with special occasion packages by reservation. Open air, beautiful sunsets, live music (Fri. & Sat.) and candlelights after dark - oh so tropical and romantic!!
