Hello! We are planning a vacation and deciding where to go. My wife and I had our first child in January and now she’s reluctant to come back to Temptation. I’ve reassured her that I think she looks great (honestly, my body probably suffered more than hers did from the pregnancy) and we should do Temptation again. Seems like she might not go topless around the pool and what not, which is not the end of the world. But she asked what we would do for theme nights since she doesn’t feel like dressing up for those. My question is, what SHOULD we do for theme nights? Are there other bars open we could go to in the resort? Will we feel out of place if we go to bash not dressed for the theme but in some regular clothes? Any ideas? Thanks! PS, yes I’ve been doing what I can to reassure her she does look great. We both used to be athletes and don’t look like we used to but she is still attractive.
Depending on the theme night, participation can be low anyway. Perhaps consider doing the easy themes, like White Night and Glow Night? She can just wear a white outfit on White Night (who doesn't have some white summer clothes?), and buy some glow sticks, rings, etc. to add to any outfit for Glow Night. Those are the two nights which the greatest participation, especially White Night. If she is not feeling comfortable enough for skimpy lingerie on lingerie Night, she could wear a mid-thigh lacy nightie, or a corseted slip with a built-in bra, or a teddy with looser shorts on the bottom. Or choose a dress that kinda looks lingerie-like. Or just ignore the theme nights altogether if she is not feeling it. No one will care, really.
There is always the Sports Bar too that is open all night. But do the theme nights, it is a lot of fun!
hubs just usually wears a tshirt in what ever theme the night is and he has a good time.. a bright yellow shirt for glow ..a white one for white night .. and so on super hero night has a lot of superman and batman tshirts … running around I think you have a better time when you are comfortable in what you are wearing and not everyone runs around in skimpy clothes ..
Can’t speak for after a baby but having been to TTR while 5 months pregnant I wasn’t very body confident either. I packed about 3x the clothing vs a normal trip. In other words, I packed shorts and tanks I could wear at night, flowy dresses and a few colored bras n panties. Well the heat beat out everything else so I wore the bras n panties most nights with specific theme wear (silk robe on lingerie etc or shorts on for more coverage). I was glad I had the more conservative options for when I wanted myself covered up but found I had no trouble with judgement from others for my body or my choice to participate theme vs no theme.
