Wife and I are going to TTR Sep 12-16.. We went a few years ago (prior to the renovation) for a very short stay so we didn't get to do everything we wanted. She is already getting her outfits ready for Theme nights, but we had some questions about the restaurants and dress attire. I read previously that most men wear slacks and a nice shirt to the restaurants.. What do the women wear for these?? Dresses? Fancy outfits?? Looks like there is quite a selection of restaurants there.. Any one in particular that stands out?? I know during the day time, its probably chilling by the pool in swimsuits and drinking it up and having a good time. Any advice would be much appreciated..
I haven't been since the renovation, so I can't comment on any of the particular restaurants, but as for typical women's dress to them, it's kind of anything goes and your mood at the time. You'll see people at the buffet in anything ranging from their swimsuit cover-ups to shorts and t-shirts to Sexy Dresses. In the reservation restaurants, the women tend to dress up a bit more, so you might see shorts with a dressy top, a sundress, or a super tight short sexy dress. Most of us change for theme nights after dinner instead of going to dinner in our theme wear, but sometimes you just don't feel like changing twice, so if you did show up in themewear, no one would bat an eye. I just overpack in epic proportions! After a day of drinking at the sexy pool, you never know what your mood is going to be. So I make sure I've got options since some days I'll feel like vamping it up, and others I'll be too exhausted to handle more than throwing on a T-shirt and staggering down for a bread basket!
Most women wear cocktail dresses and then go back to their room after to put them outfits on or even sundresses most women love to dress up with high heels With their husbands being nicely dressed it's a great place to take pictures inside the restaurant
It was supposed to say put their themed outfits on after dinner and before the show that is at 10 every night something you definitely do not want to miss
As ShinerFrog said, guys need long pants in the non-buffet restaurants for dinner now, "most of the time." Every once in a while someone random will manage to get in with dress shorts on. And it's no reason for everyone else to get pissed off, either. It just happens. As to ladies wear, Laura nailed it (Summerbum) with her post above. That's exactly how Stacia works it, too.
