Trip report from newbies Hi everyone. My girlfriend and I, in our forties we're newbies to Temptation. Here is our story. First i have to say that we are french speaking. So that will explain in part how our trip went. It will also explain that i might not write that well in english since i dont write in english that much. That being said, i consider myself billingual and i did get most everything Chino, T , nacho or anyone alse said in english and was able to translate to my girlfriend the best joke and punchline they did. It's very important to understand the language situation if you dont speak english. My girlfriend doesn't speak english. On the other side she speaks perfect spanish and she already did go about 20 times everywhere south (Acapulco, cancun, Cuba, dominican republic, Venezuela, etc...). In all these trips, she used her spanish a lot, but its different at Temptation. The way it feels I would say the Temptation is situated somewhere between the USA and Canada. :usa1: TEMPTATION :flagcanada: The guest seems to be somewhere around 50% US, 40% Canadian, 10% others or something like it, probably not always the same, cant tell. So everything around is in English. If you dont really speak english, make sure you understand that part. Actually the only time the girlfriend really spoke in spanish was at one lunch when nacho join us. Thats one of the "daily activities" called lunch with the cast i would guess. I dont know if you ask them or what, but that activitie was written on the board of the sexy pool. And after nacho ask to join us to eat i observed they seem to be spread around with different groups. About the cast. Chino is as good as people here say he is. He takes charge and do a great job. I'm not sure if he is in charge of the group, but after a beach volleyball game, i was showering (hint : the shower between the beach and the Quiet Pool as a lot more water pressure than the one beside the sexy pool, that sands is tought to beat) so while i'm showering Chino came over and asked if the cast-referee were good at the volley game. As was the case, i told him everything was perfect, but thought it was good business on his part to ask for customer retroaction ! T : Was also great. I'l try to make a short story. At the pool volley ball game, a guy did take the game a bit too seriously, picking on rules that are not "real volley ball rule", rule that T perfecltly explain before, like wait for the wissle. I was very impress by the way she firmly and rightly told him he was not forced to play. The guy was very (too?) competitive, i also played him at pool basket and was happy to be his cover man knowing what game he wanted, dont get me wrong, he was playing clean and we had fun, but at the volley game he forgot he was in Cancun to have fun and relax. Just don't forget your main goal. I was also happy to receive (obv. brag) the ironman trophy from her, but had to give it back:icon_frown:. The other thing i remember about her is that for some reason, she had my (and a bunch of other) bathingsuit with her on stage, but thats another story. Nacho : Was also very good in the activities. Didn't talk as much beside because the girlfriend practice her spanish with him (like i said not many other opportunities for that. Brenda : was also nice but i did not talk to or seen her as much. Everyone in the cast and the personnel, Barmen, waiter, cleanning ladies, etc...wre al great ! Remember to be nice to them, Yes i guess tipping correctly makes thing even better. Not that you would have a bad service otherwise, but its always welcome. As for the day activities, i would resume it this way. If it look like a sports activities (Ironman, beach volley, pool volley, poolbasket, etc... It is usually a sports activities. If it has some kind of "twist" around the game, its another thing. The end result could include alcool (beer contest drinker as example), cloths removal or "funny" clothes, your on you own here... For the ladies there are different classes of sensual stuff offered during the day (pole dancing, etc...). The girlfriend did not feel like participating much since she did not understand the english explanation. Anyway she is more of a pool dancer, and since we could stay at the sexy pool we were having fun to the beat of the music. Wish we were there now :icon_sad: Restaurants and buffet, since i'm a picky eater, my opinion is worthless, by i could say that the burger and fries available at paty'o after 11 pm really hit the spot for a night snack. Also in the buffet the waiter are rotating the section they serve. Since one section gives a way better view of the sexy pool, even if its quiet during lunch time, that part is way more crowded. One day Oscar, our regular waiter propose we sit in the deserted area, the one he was covering that day. Its always pleasant to feel that as a customer you are appreciated and we gladly accepted. Not only could we have our prefered waiter (the one we knew better) but since its more "quiet" he had even more time for us ! Drinks and bars. Everyone was great. As for alcool, i mostly always drink white wine. It was good enough for me, and the small portion beacuse of the small plastic cup wasn't as disturbing. If you drink something else, the usual mug might be usefull (they sell some there anyway if nedded). Night activities. we were there mostly every night. Beside the lingerie casino night i would say you will survive if you dont assist to the other one. On the other side, most of those activities included some dancing which suited us very well. We did not go to the city bars. But every night we did go to paty'o (after or instead of the nice shoes) and had a lot of fun every time. We did not get very close to the other guest. First because the girlfriend not speaking english made it a little boring to her to just watch me talk in english and try to translate. Also, we are always more by herself then otherwise. That was true, as exemple, in Cuba or dominacan republic as it was in Temptation. BUT if you are looking for a group to hang with, it seems way more easy in Temptation then anywhere else I saw in the south. We saw a lot of groups, like that one guy playing guitar with 20 persons on his balcony that he did not know before ! In a word, if you want to be part of a party group, its very easy. If your more the kind who likes being by themself, its also quite easy. Dont get me wrong we still talked to a lot of people, and had a blast, but you can easily make the trip what you choose it to be. Now on the interesting part :lol: If you made it that far, you deserve to have a little comment about the "kinky stuff", "sex" or whatever you want to call it. Swingers. We are not swingers but we are open minded. We did meet a couple of swingers. Was funny. We were dancing by the sexy pool when that ladie came over said hi talked a bit and propose we meet her husband. We (meaning I, re:english) talked a little with them. I can't understand why they seem to assume we were swingers, but i can say that they were real nice people and never put any pressure on us. If you are into swinging, its far from a sure shot, but you will encounter some once in a while. Maybe not as many as some might think or hope for. Single man. I dont think the resort is a great place for single guys looking for single ladies. BUT no other resort that i know of will be a better place anyway. So on that one it probably depends of the present crowd when you are there, but if your a single guy you will still have a blast, but since they are not as many single female as single male, you either look for the city bars, or start looking for couples who might need some help. Single woman. I think i would resume this way. If you are good looking, you will feel like your are the "queen bee", if you are not that good looking, you will feel gorgeous. Simple math. Not only is there more single men than women, but i would guess even the "open couples" have more biais toward adding a woman to their routine than a man. In general, yes the resort have a little sexual feeling around it. Some night at 6 when the pool closed, some girl were getting naked for eveyone's pleasure. The dancing often brought some people to dance in a way you dont see that much in your smalltown bars, yes some of the day game, might have you remove your clothes, but usually not for long and your not force or push in anyway to play those game. In one word. Sexual talk or act will not seem out of place, but you wont feel out of place either if you act like you do in your eveyday life. I might go on and on and on (actually i did :icon_biggrin but i wil conclude it this way. I'm leaving tomorrow for a 5 stars hotel in the Bahamas. That being said, instead of looking for that trip i'm here talking about the Temptation ! That by itself says a lot ! Actually, i'm going to the Bahamas because i won that trip. In term of money, its worth a little more than 4 times what it would cost to go to the Temptation. You know what ? If I could, I would, in a heartbeat, trade that 4 times more expensive trip to the Bahamas, to go to Temptation . Hope you have fun and dont forget the basis of the whole thing : "Nobody knows you, nobody cares" !
Tempted I think you need more than a coach, try a different resort that swinging/swapping is out in the open! It sounds like Desire would be more your style. Temptations is not as wild as you may think. Good Luck!

Il y avait suffisament des gars célibataire et très peu de femme. selon ce que je vois de ta photo, inquiète-toi pas tu vas faire un malheur :icon_smile: :daveandmo: :3some:. La question de la langue sera un peu plate pour toi durant les jeux car chino parle seulement en anglais et relativement vite. Nous avons rencontré environ 7 couples de québécois et 5 ou 10 québécois célibataires. Mets toi chums avec quelques un des québécois qui pourront t'aider avec la langue parfois. Pour tes contacts personnels, la majorité parle anglais, mais un homme est un homme et la majorité sortiront leur francais du dimanche pour te plaire. Bon voyage à une jeune femme de Shawi (j'ai pas rêvé que vous êtes fusionné maintenant). Cliffnote in english. She seem to look good, so whatever the fact her english isn't that good, i told her she'll easily find what she might be looking for !

Thanks for the detailed trip report, must have taken quite some time to put it all together especially as English isnt your first language. It gives a great representation of what the hotel is about. Sounds like you had a good time and will be back for more
