    Have you done this?

JUST A REMINDER...In a few weeks, cell phone numbers are being released to telemarketing companies and you will start to receive sale calls.YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR THESE CALLS... To prevent this, call the following number from your cell phone: 888-382-1222 or www.donotcall.gov

It is the National DO NOT CALL list. It will only take a minute of your time. It blocks your number for five (5) years. PASS THIS ON TO ALL YOUR FRIENDS
Use their web site - it is easier and you can register up to three cell numbers www.donotcall.gov

I did this on my home phone as well, it registered it as well!!!

I am scared to put my number on the list becuase I am afraid it might cause calls that I might not have gotten if not on the list, I think I did get a call last night though, it was an 877 number and they didnt leave a message. This really ticks me off, do cell phone companies need that extra cash to violate the privacy of thier customers??

As soon as I check the board I will find out info. From what the reports were saying was that since you are paying for you minutes, unlike a home phone, was the reason that they aren't suppose to do that. I think it said if they do you can report it.
