OK....I'm going to try to go in order as much as I can remember from the Alcohol.... When we arrived at the airport at 11:10 am it went smooth, no one was taking temperatures. When we got outside looking for our transportation everyone was trying to give you ride, it was about 100 in the shade and I was getting frustrated. After about 10 minutes of say no thank you, we have a ride. The transportation guy found us and told us to stand over there the van was on the way. There were 2 other couples waiting to go to TTR also. Once we arrived at TTR around 1:30 we were greeted by ALDO (I love this guy) who took our bags out of the van, and we were given an ice cold towel to put on our face. We were told that our rooms were NOT and we can go and talk to the Premier Co. We got Renatta who talked for about 30 minutes and I was so ready to see the resort that I blacked out and started thinking about lingerie night...lol. Finally, we went to Tex Mex to have lunch and the waiting list was about a 20 minute wait. I was so excited, not comfortable because I still had on clothes and wanted to unwind. Orlando in the Tex Mex was great... That's where my husband and I had our first shots of Tequila and Margaritas, and.....Daiquiris...WOW... When we left there we went back to the front desk and we were ready to go to our room 5324. I was about 30 feet from the sexy pool but off in the cut with a view of the garden and beach. This is where it gets interesting. After all the reviews I knew I would be disappointed. Our room was very clean and cold. There were NO ants and the rooms was cold (brrrrrr). Although I still pulled out my can of Lysol, the room was clean and cold. Yes, the bed was kind of on the hard side. But you can tolerate it. We found channel 12 & 14 quick (lol). But at this point I was making my own channel XXX.....lol. After all the shots and drinks we took a nap. (No time for sleeping ...huh) Any way we walked around the resort, greeted and meet very nice people once we woke up around 6. We ate at the buffet and the food was good. We were also told that the resort was 90% full and that we would have to make reservation. I LOVE PEANUT M & M's are a very nice couple and I enjoyed them. We went back to the room and got ready for lingerie night. I was in the amused at some of the things that I saw...lol. I played black jack and then enjoyed the festivities with CHINOOOOO. YES HE'S BACK! My hubby won me a COCO Bongo bag from the Casino bidding...lol. After that we had more drinks and we out for the night. Friday morning, we had the "Breakfast Tour" boring... I do NOT want to purchase anything. We were with (?) for about 2 hours. They do NOT understand NO THANKS, I'm NOT interested. After we survived the escape for Premiere. I went to make reservations at the most requested Al la Carte. Asian & Italian. We ate and Drank and Drank more, I was looking for you MIKED but didn't see you. Guess What.... I went PARASAILING & LOVED IT. We got on the bus to do some shopping, 12 packed buses passed us before we were able to get on the R-2 to market 28 for gifts. We had to walk 6 blocks before we got there. Negotiation is the key. We caught a taxi back to TTR at 6USD. We took a bath and we to the bar and waited for our reservation for the Italian Res. The atmosphere was spectacular, we sat right in front of the color changing waterfalls...I loved it. The chicken was terrific. After dinner hubby and I walked the beach and went to the game room for pool and the WII. Saturday we ate breakfast and enjoyed the quiet pool. It was relaxing and peaceful. We meet an Irish man in a Kilt and he was funny and I seen all his goods because he was climbing on the bar...OMG...LOL. I have seen it all...lol. OK, back to the update, we went to to walk up the street just to get away and it was interesting how the people drive...CRAZY. We shopped across the street for souvenirs. Before dinner hubby and I sat outside the Asian restaurant. and watched the ocean, pirate dinner ships, and last but not least that wonderful night air, that was so romantic. Dinner at the Asian restaurant was nice and I enjoyed the spring rolls. Well, this was our last night so we made the most of it by walking around the resort; NOT wanting to leave...It was pure paradise... I would recommend it 100% :lotsoflove: I was NOT excited about going towards the last of last week because I had read so many bad reviews. Go open minded, with a positive attitude and you will have a blast. We will be back. Words of Thought: Do Not listen to the bad reviews; let YOUR experience be your own determination. Thanks everyone for helping me with this wonderful experience. See you soon… http://public.fotki.com/LILSHY/temptation/
Glad you had a great time, you seemed worried about it from your posts so it is interesting to see your trip report. thanks for sharing
Thanks for sharing the report and pics. I've found over the years the 9 out 10 bad reports are usually someone just over expecting. They think they pay a couple grand for the two of them and expect a resort you'd pay 5K for two people. I'm sure many of them would find problems with those resorts also. Gotta love Temptations. Gives you alot of bang for the buck and a very different atmoshpere then you find at just about any other resort. Nick and Renee
