I think the voters screwed this one up personally. Peyton had a pretty good game, but it was not one of his best. I dont think he deserved the MVP. I would have given it to Domenic Rhodes C/ATT YDS AVG TD INT P. Manning 25/38 247 6.5 1 1 CAR YDS AVG TD LG D. Rhodes 21 113 5.4 1 36 you could even make a case for the Colt defense to win it. Not sure how youd give a joint MVP award but they played phenominal. 5 total turnovers only 265 total yards given up 1 lone sack
At the start of the game, I was convinced either Urlacher or Bob Sanders was going to be the MVP but I really can't call this one.
I agree that Peyton wasn't the MVP but when you let the public have some control over who's chosen it really becomes a popularity contestand he is the most popular player.
It was a team victory. No one person or element had the key responsibility for the win. I'd say the Colts defense was helped in part by Rex Grossman making poor decisions and passes.
   I voted for Prince too.....but what was he thinking with that thing on his head at first
Maybe he was worried about the reaction of the rain with his obvious over-usage of mousse and gel! Awesome show!! Singing Purple Rain during the actual rain was so perfect -- Prince got my vote too.
