I have been going through all the lists on here of the things we need to take....still looking for more advice

I aslo noticed nobody has said bugspray so are they fairly mild in Cancun? the Cuba reviews were all about bugs being bad

ive been many times to temptations and cancun, Ive never really had a problem with mosquitoes to be honest, ive heard some say they could be an issue at certain times, but I havent noticed. Last april, I was bitten a couple times when visiting a friend on the garden side and hanging by his balcony next to shrubs and trees and stuff. but when by the bars and pools ive never had a problem, I think the ocean breeze tends to help that also. Im sure others will chime in with their experiences

I can't remember which trip it was at this point but we did have a horrible problem with mosquito's one trip. It was so bad that the staff went and got bug spray and stayed near our table while we *tried* to eat at Margarita's one night. Since then we always bring some bug spray with us.

Some of the girls in our group have been eaten alive in late nov. They were bitten by bugs too! ;) I work outside on the seacoast so I don't really notice it. It seemed like the girls complained about the bites more if we had spent any time on the beach.

    YES! Take it!

even if you don't use it - it's expensive to buy there, just like the unbelievable price of sunscreen.

I was bitten on my legs and ankles by teenie mossies in Margarita's. It was May though - so maybe they are worse going into the summer months.
