So we have our 3rd trip scheduled back to Temptations in May. This is our first trip in May so we are really looking forward to all the excitement. Question we have is what are all the things that we need to do that are a must? We have done the Boobs Cruise which is a no-brainer and will definitely do again. We have also done the Coco Bongo which was a lot of fun. Just wondering what others have done that they are glad that they did when they were in Cancun. Any suggestions?
Some of my favorite things to do outside of Temptation are the Jungle Tour/snorkel adventure with the wave runners. Also, we enjoyed the Captain Hook Dinner cruise as well.
My April trip We plan to see the new Permanant cirque show Joya. We also plan to do the day tour at selvetica ... Mostly for the Zipline portion..but the rest looks cool too. Neither are cheap but look great and the reviews for both are very good. Selvatica the best tour in Cancun, Riviera Maya and Playa del Carmen - https://www.cirquedusoleil.com/en/shows/joya/default.aspx And a Boobs Cruise of course. One of these trips I'll get to the coco show, but not sure it'll be this one. Nate
Everyone is different...but other than the Boobs Cruise we almost never leave the resort. Last year on a 12 day trip, we took an afternoon and went to our favorite restaurant, Hooters and walked around downtown a bit, but made sure we were back in time for the Paty'Os shenanigans. On a side note, I had a really good friend from college from Elkhorn! Went one weekend to stay with her and some friends at her childhood home there!
Did u try yhe Yacht cruise ? It's fun, there are plenty to do at TTR such as massage, or photo shoot, they were great memories. Our 2€.
we always do a day trip over to isla mujeres and explore the island we also did a trip to Tulum for the day
If you've never taken the Chichen Itza tour it is amazing. it will however be an long-hot-day! If your tour stops at the Cenote for swiming thats really cool in more ways than one. Tulum is awesome in its own way, but smaller and therefore easier. Once you get those out of the way, then you can just stay at the resort in the future, except for the Boobs Cruise of course! George
I found Tulum not that exciting, we rented a car and drove there, that was exciting but Tulum by itself is nothing special (not a big fan of ruins). They do have a great beach and a great view ocean but that was all. After that trip we canceled our trip to Chi Chi Itza.
I'd recommend a day at Isla Mujeres. Turn left out of the lobby doors at the front of the hotel, and the ferry is a 5-minute walk. Times are posted online somewhere for Ultramar (think it's every hour from 9am to 5pm). Playa Norte is amazing, and there's some nice restaurants and bars along the strip by the ferry dock. Also love the beach club 'Garrafon de Castilla', which is on the southern point of the island by the reef park. $5 entrance fee and well worth it. You can snorkel right off the beach without having to hire a boat. You can hire golf carts to get around, but I prefer to just use taxis. They're not expensive and less hassle. Should you miss the last ferry back, you can get a ferry to Puerto Juarez as late as 11pm, but there's no bus route back to the hotel at the dock - you have to get a cab back.
