I am planning to move to Cancun in February. Would it be a problem if I purchase a old/used U-Haul truck (a 16 footer) and drive it across the border? My wife is Mexican so, we can put the title in her name and try to ell the truck in Cancun. Will this idea work? We are moving alot of "stuff" and it will not fit in te family van. Also, I am not sure if the U-Haul will need commercial plates here in the U.S. I it does, will that add to any problems at the border?
