thats crazy....I agree that the kids can make cards that go to someone 'important' in their life.

I lost my mom when I was 12....and I couldn't imagine having a mother's day 'banned' from school to help me feel better....no matter what, those kids are going to remember and have the feelings....not just on Mother's Day.

Well, shoot, anyone who cares for you fills the role of parent and I suppose I believe that they (aunt, grandmother, friend, father, foster/adoptive/step -mom, etc.) wouldn't be offended by being acknowledged for their sacrifices and their care and efforts.

    LOL! Some logic......

Well in that case, I don't have a desk at home, parents are too poor to afford one, so I guess that means that I don't have to do any homework! Yeah...that's the ticket!

Link is from the Daily Mail.

It's a UK "newspaper" that has never got over the fact that Margaret Thatcher is no longer PM and takes any chance they can to portray the current UK Govt as the root of all evil and the source of anything PC that happens.

My Dad buys it daily and that rag has been the source of many a heated discussion between us.
