Not found much information about mosquitoes in cancun. What are they like at Temptations? I'm prone to bites and I'm scared that with all the skimpy outfits i will be bitten alive.
I'm one of those people that once bitten stay under long pants smelling of nasty repellant. My last holidays I even wore long pants to all the restaurants including breakfast because thats where I mainly get bitten.

Well you will know who I am on day 2 Caus if I get bitten I will be covered up for the rest of the holiday apart from around the pool. I hope I won't be taking all my skimpy outfits for nothing.

I want to wear skimpy, sexy outfits but I don't want my holiday spoilt by nasty mosquitoe bites.

    Please help!!!!!

Like clockwork, they SWARMED to sexy pool at about 6 pm. It was the warm calm days. When it was a bit windy, they werent there. Same if you get a jacuzzi room. You have to use the jacuzzi earlier or later...

Well thats it then, long trousers for me with sexy top. Tony (Partner) will have to look at sexy legs elsewhere, apart from in the bedroom. Thats my sexy holiday ruined before I even get there. Bloody mosquitoes.

I have been to temptations many times and I have never had a problem with bugs or mosquitoes.... I was worried the first couple trips too as I always seem to be a buffet for mosquitoes, but I really cant even remember one bite to be honest with you...I dont think its something to really worry about, at least when ive gone in March....may be different for different times of the year, but ive never had a problem

Same here in 6 trips, never seen one and bugs are not a poblem. You can buy repellant in the store.

maybe its the time of the year. And Im one of those people theyre attracted to. My friend Matt, same thing, they love him. If youre not one of those people, you have nothing to worry about. It seemed after talking to others, it was only the people that had problems with mosquitoes in the past...

I don't think you need to worry about the mosquitoes....I am usually the only person that is bitten and have never had a bite at TTR in 6 trips in the last 2 years. And I've never used repellent there. So I think you'll be fine!

I tend to get bitten badly where ever we go and like you can be seen wearing long linen trousers!

However when we last went to Cancun I only got a few bites on my feet from sand flies.

    My tips are -
buy repellent in the country you are in (not in the UK!)
Stay away from water at night
Vitamin B supplements for a week before you go and every day on holiday (apparently you don't taste as good with lots of vit B in your blood!)

If all else fails lets laugh about it together - as I'll be the other on in long trousers!!
