They beat me up in April. That was the first time I have ever had a problem with them there. I will never go again without bug spray again.

I am a mosquito magnet, and I've never been bitten at TTR.

They tend to destroy me, but in all my trips (mostly in Sept, May, and Aug), I only got bit up once. And I don't even think the bites were mosquitoes. They were probably something else from sitting in the grass next to someones patio. Just bring some off for those really humid nights, and I am sure you will be fine.

I'm a mosquito magnet as well. I was there last week and no issues at all.

We had no problem what so ever in the hotel but if you go out on trips it's very advisable to take spray or cream

We were there ten days ago. I used repellent at night but not during the daytime. I only got bit once during my whole stay.

I react terribly to mosquito bites, pretty much all insect bites. Even with DEET spray, I got bit up pretty bad every single TTR trip, coming home looking like I had chicken pox. That was until my last trip after they renovated the resort. Only one bite the entire 2-week stay. The mosquitoes hang out around vegetation, so guessing I used to get bitten most at Paty O (the old night spot) which was surrounded by plantings and vegetation. Bash doesn't have any plants. Along with my usual arsenal of bite prevention and soothing creams, last trip I also brought a plug-in bug repellent. Just left it plugged in and didn't see any mosquitoes in the room.

Just avoid hanging out on ground floor balconies (they're surrounded by vegetation) and you should be fine.
